Bambi Cover art

Post by ghost999 »

I'm confused?? Is the cover art that appears on the main page of this site real or a custom version created by one of us??

I wish they were using Chernobog's! It looks great! The butterfly on the tail is better than the butterfly on the nose...

I'm pretty sure those are just high-res promotional stills. I think the actual DVD's image will be more razor sharp and less grainy.

Sligthly changed cover art !
As it can be seen on Amazon.com :

Image

As usual and as we all know it, the top and bottom banners won't be the same as the ones that appear here. Like the other PE releases, the top's will feature the "Platinum Edition" banner and the bottom one may not even exist.

I like the new cover ! 8)
Chandler (to Phoebe, over the phone) : Listen, Joey isn't gonna be here tonight so why don't you come over and I'll let you uh.. feel my bicep; or maybe more...

A new cover again? That looks really nice, hope that'll be the same here in Finland. The previous cover was nice too, but it still looks more beautiful when you can see the whole Bambi and not only his head.

The bottom banner will probaply promote the virtual forrest hunt or god knows what kiddie feature is supposed to sell this film. We all know that even if it was a barebones disc the entire world would still buy it, this is our childhood classic, bring it on already! Oh wich reminds me, the dutch edition is gonna be a 1-disc edition :x I'm s buying the region 1 edition.

Where did you hear that? Aren't you confusing Bambi with Alice in Wonderland?

 Good one.

But seriously . . . . . . . I think they've dropped the bottom banner. They could've used it to promote the Virtual Carpet Ride on Aladdin, but they opted not to use it at all. Heck, I wouldn't be suprised the see the top banner gone by 2006 or 2007.

I read it in the forum at Disneyinfo.nl I could be wrong but I think someone in the international dvd section said he had a copy of the R2 version and it's a single disc. I hope it's just some promotional thing or perhaps I read it wrong but it would REALLY suck if it indeed turns out to be a 1-disc edition.

Nicer pic of Bambi, but I wish Disney would use the logo from the international releases. This one's quite drab in comparison.

I have just read it too :( I am going to send a mail to my BVHE Benelux contact on monday to ask if it really will be a 1-disc release and why. This really is a bummer :(

I don't know about all european countries but I'm sure that at least for England and France it will be a 2-Dsic Set, just as every Platinum Edition title.
