Lion King Collectors Box Set - Too thick?

Post by 2099net »

Looking at the box design.... doesn't it look a little 'thick' to you?

How thick is the book going to be? It's approx 200 pages and hardback. The box look like it's incredibly deep. Will most of the contents be foam packaging?

Also, going back to the Platinum labeling... notice how Platinum is not mentioned on the box design anywhere?
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

the book is suppose to be the same size and the DVD case height and lenght thickness must be huge but from what i've seen it all fits in the box lining just like a regular box set. about the box set not saying platinum oh well it a collector's box is not a platinum collector's box the only thing that's platinum is the DVD :)

I tell ya, the ONLY way I could see myself getting the Box Set is if I can find it under $30...and that's probably a pipe dream.

I'm guessing that the box is 6 to 7 centimeters thick - three times as thick as a regular DVD case.

If you order it from DVDSoon.com (Canada) the total comes to 29.83 or something like that...but it is under $30

There is no satisfying some people, is there? :P

hee hee hee....

Oh, cool! The Lion King is coming out.

But shit, the packaging is too think. :D

Hee...just kiddin'. Hadn't really thought about it.

I've had this on order for ages, and the only thing I am concerned about is it working on my player (there was not a single copy of Beauty and the Beast I tried from here or the US that worked properly - they all skipped in the same places. Maybe I should try the UK edition, the single disc one. Actually I might need a new player).

Hmmmm...once you factor in shipping though I'm assuming that pushes things up to about $37 or $38. It's all about ME, so I want FREE SHIPPING 8)

Yeah, I thought it looked pretty sad. Though it's strange to see that Hilary Duff is among them-I thought she was "too good" to be with them-their shows didn't get a feature film, soundtrack, or turn them into a pop-star who is apparantly money-hungry.
