A Wrinkle in Time on DVD!!!!

Reportedly will feature a making of featurette, audio commentary by Madeleine L'Engle, two deleted scenes, two trailers and a game.

Wasn't their a DVD released this year by Disney/DVD of this film ? I think I remember a review of it or something

Yes!!! A Wrinkle in Time is on DVD. I still haven't seen it yet since I taped it this year anyway I tape half of the movie since I didn't know it was 3 hours long so I'll get the DVD.

Well, the Dvd just came out this week. Having not seen the movie when it was shown of TV, the first thing I did was actually watch the film. Overall, the film itself was fairly well done, but I would have like to have actually seen IT, rather than having a second confrontation with the Man with the Red Eyes. The extras are sparse-a short film on the making of the movie, a few deleted scenes (mostly of showing Dr. Murry and a colleague named Hank discovering the tesseract, the one that send Dr. Murry to Camazotz in the first place-glad they cut this out of the movie, it wasn't necessary)
The best extra is a rare interview with the author of Wrinkle in Time, Madeline L'engle. She talks about writing the book, the characters and even a little about the book business in general. A wonderful extra that even fans of the book who maybe didn't care for the movie might like to have since L'engle rarely does interviews.
Overall a B+ for the movie, A for the extras (the L'engle interview counts for a lot, otherwise the extras might rate a C-)

With 40 minutes of bonus features, including 18 minutes of fully-edited deleted scenes (in anamorphic widescreen), I wouldn't exactly call the extras "sparse"!

As I said in my review, while I enjoyed the L'Engle interview a lot, I would have liked to hear her talk about the movie a little bit as well.
