Absolutely gorgeous job once again, Hermione! One question, though. Why'd you change Jasmine's outfit to purple? Was it because her normal light blue would clash too much with the deep color scheme? Since you say you're nearly finished and not completely, I'm guessing you'll be adding some sort of image in the back cover's left side gap? Otherwise, it's absolutely brilliant, especially since everyone's more on model than on the official cover.

jasmine's outfit

thanks, I thought I would change Jasmine's outfit due to it clashed slightly, and I thought the purple really went well with the rest of the cover :)

Speaking of color changes, I think it would do to darken the pair's skin up a bit... I mean, they are Middle-Eastern, after all. As of now, they look quite Caucasian.

Other than that, it's absolutely wonderful!! ^_^

I agree about the skin's lack of tan, but forgive me Paka, (correct me if I'm wrong) aren't middle easteners TECHNICALLY also Caucasians?

I s'pose it all depends on what part of the "Middle East" you're talking about... ;)

That is fantastic, but of course you need to fill the gap.

Absolutely marvelous work, Hermione. Mr DisneyGuru who's busying cramming cropped lo-res images together and calling them "DVD artwork" at the Off-Topic forum should be ashamed of himself when he sees this.

It looks great, but right now (maybe not when it's finished) it doesn't look better than the one we have now (the official art). The official art is more colorful and that's much more attracting than a dark purple/dark blue cover.

But hey, I love it A LOT!

Great job! I think Jafar should at least have a small pic, but other than that, very nice. :)

I think the purple costume she had at the end of the movie looked great and I'm ahppy to see it brought out on this cover. Aladdin's costume looks great too. I really liek the purple hues in the clouds and the stars too! the official one was just a flat dark blue and yours ahs great texture. i think the corner pic of jafar and iago on the cliff would look cool on the bottom of this cause it looks kind of empty but the cave looks awesome!
cant wait to see the final one and that webpage you've been working on!
This is awesome work!

I think a green-blue would work great. It remains a cool color while it will contrast very nicely with the rest of the scene.

How about Alice in Wonderland? :D Unless, of course, you're only focusing on the Platinums. If so, then I say go with Cinderella.
