missing extras on uk releases?

Post by Jules »

Can someone help me on this one: among the extras that are stated for "Monsters, Inc" UK 2-disc set, in the 2nd disc there is the original opening for the film (in theory, it's on the story menu, in humans only). However it's not on the actual menu - it has only 6 options rather than the 7 that they say in the box. Can anyone tell me if it exists (as an easter egg or something else) or not, and if so, how can I reach it. I have checked the BBFC website and it was submited as part of the DVD.

Also on Disney double discs, the trailers for "sleeping beauty" also are listed in the BBFC website but nowhere to be seen on the disc released early this year (although they are supposed to be in the american edition in September). Are they just hidden?

As far as I know the trailers are not on the UK Sleeping Beauty disc. Sadly the fact that they were passed by the BBFC does not mean that they will be included in the finished product. "Muppets Christmas Carol" was passed by the BBFC in widescreen, but the UK disc was full-screen only.

As for "Monsters, Inc." I don't think anything is missing off the UK disc. I will check later today.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Someone's a Guiding Light fan
What would this wretched world be like without Disney?
