Help Installing Water Cooler...

Post by STASHONE »

I just ordered a water filter for my kitchen a couple of weeks ago and was delivered two 18l bottles along with the cooler this morning and I have no idea how to install these things. Do I have to poke a hole in the tops of the bottles to fit them on or something, can anyone help me out here?

It looks like this, the kind you find in offices...

I tried to remove the caps but I dont want to flood my kitchen and break the unit. What do I do next?

the water bottle lid should have something that looks like a sticker on it, you peel that off, then quickly put it onto the cooler. When I first got mine I made the mistake of taking of the lid....don't do that

damn, I already poked a hole in the lid by stabbing it with a barbecue prong!

I didn't notice any sticker, let me go reevaluate the situation... I hope I didn't just ruin this bottle. (Don't go anywhere!)

I lifted the sticker on the second one but its still sealed. I guess I did the right thing by poking a hole in it... I'm scared to flip it over though cause it looks like the waters just gonna rush right out into the machine and overflow onto the floor. The water isn't supposed to run into the unit at all is it?

you just drop it on the place on the cooler where the bottle should install and it should poke a hole in it for you. don't poke a hole in it yourself or else if you miss, you have a big mess on your hands

That's different than ours...but it seems to make sense. Water coolers are confusing on the first try rotfl

We have one and that is the exact way ours works to. You just drop it on place on the cooler. And then Presto, it works. And you press the little button and water comes out. U Huh U Huh U Huh.
