2004 ULTIMATE DISNEY SECRET SANTA - Sign up by November 12th
All right, 5 more signups. I'm taking off Nedakh, since I haven't heard anything from him beyond a preliminary interest, so I'm guessing he's not participating. That brings us to 21. There are a couple of question marks, between Nedakh, JEANYLASER, and Grunches. Hopefully we'll know soon if they'll be participating or not.

I'll start the thread before the assignment e-mails go out on Saturday.Ciaobelli wrote:When are we gonna start posting our wish lists?

You're free to do what you'd like, Just Myself, but that'd obviously not be something that people are required to do.
I think we can probably move Nedakh and the other question marks to the "Not gonna do it" column, which leaves us with 22. It's not the easiest thing to gage, but I'm pretty sure that most of those 22 people are sincerely committed to doing this and understand how this will work out.
In any event, the random (via Microsoft Excel) assignments and the wish list thread will commence on Saturday. I haven't decided yet, but I might split the assigning into two parts, just to make sure that everyone knows what's going on and isn't going to try to bail out. If you are signed up and have any reservations about participating, let me know before Saturday.
If not, great, let the holiday fun begin!

Well, it's already been mentioned in the newsletter and an e-mail sent out to all forum members earlier this week. That's gotten us to 22, and I think the only people who would have missed it altogether are people who haven't visited in the past few weeks...not the best kind of people to have for something like this.Maerj wrote:Perhaps a last minute UD.com newsletter made out just for this subject may yield a few more participants?
We almost have double what we had last year, so 22, 23, 24...any number in that range should work just fine.
