I keep my tins but I don't store the DVD's in them it makes it easier to have them out of them I have tried both ways back and forth, I have them on one of my lower shelves like Author Message
Ciaobelli they do look like they are just thrown there but normally they are lined up at the end of other movies but slid them to the side for pictures did not want you to think I had doubles when I don't, but as you can see in the picture they kind of fell off the shelf a little.
It is funny that you also have the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pilot episodes. I thought that I was probably one of the few people that bought it. But then I've seen it in a couple of collections.
PS
And the thing is that I usually don't watch that often TV series; I see the ones I have, Simpsons and Xena once I feel the desire and can't stop. But this one is different. I've seen it quite often.
Whoa!!! That's a lot of DVD's Papa Bear. I wonder how much it cost you to buy all those DVD's is it possible that there's over 500 DVD's in your collection. You make my collection look like a rookie collection man you have everything you ever wanted in that collection.
Now, I'm getting jealous...
You probably spend like $5,000 on that whole collection just a guess thought.

rnrlesnar, your going to regret you bought all those once HD-DVD/Blu-Ray hits shelves, or even 2-3 years from now when HD movies are very widely spread and adopted by consumers...trust me, they will be.
HD-DVD and Blu-Ray both have announced they will have their HD movies out next year...good luck selling all those for what you paid, unless you prefer to keep them and not get the best pic/audio quality...I personally will take true HD pic/HD-DTS.....w00t!
If anyone worried about what the next format was going to be, you'd never buy a movie. Enjoy what's out now. When your way of thinking, you shouldn't have bought any VHS movies, especially the old VHS Disney clamshells.
As for old movies, unless they do what they did with Star Wars, HD won't do much for them. I doubt studios will spend millions cleaning up every movie in their library.
When HD or Blue Ray hits the market, I'll just start buying new movies in that format, and if some special edition comes out for particular movies that makes the DVD absolutely inferior, I'll buy it.

My views exactly the only way I will buy a reissue on a different format, is if there is an unmissable special edition. When people started upgrading from VHS it was because they had the added incentive of better picture quality and from what I hear most DVD titles look great on HD TVs!

Well said! I totally agree with you, there will always be something better! I enjoy my DVD's and don't regret any purchase. Well maybe a few
Here's a pic of my entire collection. I basically stitched the pictures as one, so it doesn't look too good.
