Was Zorro ever released to DVD???
So did the Zorro first season box set ever come out in France or wherever it was rumored to come out soome time ago? And if so was it any good? Did it have any good extras how was the sound and video transfer and what not. Also does anyone know if it will be coming to region one any time soon?
It did come out and it's been the most popular DVD at Amazon.fr with UD visitors:

There are some threads on the topic if you do a search. I think the biggest complaint is that it's the colorized versions, not the black and white. I don't have the set, so I can't add any more input, but others here do and they hopefully will.

Any new information on the Zorro DVDs
I was just wondering if you found out any more about the DVDs. Did you buy the set, are they in English? Why did they release in France instead of the US? I've been looking for a couple of years for the Zorro collection and also wondered about it being released in the US
Re: Any new information on the Zorro DVDs
As far as I know, all French Disney DVDs have been release with the original soundtrack and no forced subtitles. I see no reason why Zorro would be any different. Sometimes they have supplements in French only, but being as Zorro has no supplements, you don't need to worry about this.Eric wrote:I was just wondering if you found out any more about the DVDs. I'm not sure what country you are in, but remember, if you do decide to buy this, your player needs to be able to play R2 PAL discs. And your TV needs to support PAL or your player needs to convert PAL to NTSC.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

remember UDies, you can turn off the color when watching Zorro (and maybe play a little with the contrast and brightness) to get a very good faxsimile of the original since color is a separate "track" on video.

I think it highly unlikely it will be released in black and white, it may happen but i think the chances are slim.MickeyMouseboy wrote:I hope when we get this we get the Black and White and not the Colourized
And like deathie said, you can turn down the color!
That's what I do with my Son of Flubber DVD!
