My version for Disney DVD covers

Post by Chernobog »

First of all, HELLO EVERYBODY!!

Generally i don't like the covers for Disney DVD, so i made these. Many of them are simply made with the original poster, but others are based on my ideas. I hope you like it :)

The titles of the movies are in spanish

I liked the Collector's look of Cinderella, and loved the artistic simplicity of Fantasia, Peter Pan, and The Aristocats.

Welcome. :)

Welcome!

WOW those are some nice covers. I like the Fantasia one where Walt is taking Mickey's hand!!!

They are a lot better than the R1 ones

Cinderella, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, and Little Mermaid are definitely the best. But they're all really good...

Those are really good covers. Especially the Sleeping Beauty one, that totally beats the official US cover!

They ALL beat the R1 covers, except maybe the Snow White, 101 Dalmatians, Aristocats, and and Rescuers Down Under.

Very nice. Chernobog, what do you work with to make these? Like is there some great resource for high-res Disney art that I don't know about or do you scan things yourself?

Luke, I work with Photoshop and Freehand. I usually use scans of real covers and screen captures. But I use images I get from internet a lot.

The new one for 'Hunchback' is great (or should I say ' El Jorobado de Notre Dame').
It gives it the 'class' it deserves.
It was a beautiful looking film and that cover matches it.

Keep up the good work Chernabog! Someone at Disney should hire you. :)
