The bandwidth problems should be done, for quite some time now. This doesn't mean we should use PMs willy-nilly and to send out mass mailings, but you can use avatars and signatures as you wish.
Just to clarify, bandwidth refers to the transfer of data. Having inactive forum members and old thread doesn't necessarily mean an increase in bandwidth unless they're single-handedly drawing thousands and thousands of clicks, which I don't think they are.
If we can reach our goal, even with significant growth, there shouldn't be any costs for quite some time (except for registration renewal).
Thanks for the support!

Luke, I hope the donation I made (under amazon acct. treasurebabee)helps. I tried to give a little more than you asked for so I could cover those who might not be able to donate. I check this site first thing in the morning and many times a day. It is invaluable source for any disney fan to stay informed. I'll be in Orlando for the next two weeks at WDW and won't be able to check UD site like I normally would, so good luck with your efforts. I hope anyone who can will help to keep UD going.

Maybe you should just pick one and stick with it.

Hey Luke, have you considered setting up a Pay Pal donation link,
That would be an alternate and convenient way to accept donations.

Indeed, thanks to everyone who helped us reach the goal (or even wanted to help, but couldn't for some reason). The support is appreciated and at the very least, UltimateDisney.com should be going strong for another year!
