What do you want to find under the tree this Christmas?

Post by Eeyore's friend »

I know there's still several weeks left but I've already begun thinking about what to buy people for Christmas. Every year I say I'll do my shopping early but its all lies!!!! This year I am DETERMINED to do it all and have time to actually enjoy the holiday season instead of rushing around on Christmas Eve!
So, once I've got everyone else sorted, on Christmas day I would like to find any of the following under the tree,
One Magic Christmas dvd
The Cat From Outer Space dvd
Mighty Ducks trilogy on dvd
Herbie dvd boxset
Duck Tales the Movie dvd
One Of Our Dinosaurs is Missing dvd
Walt: The Man Behind The Myth dvd
Escape To Witch Mountain dvd
Whispers ink pad caddy (I rubberstamp my own cards)
Box of gianduja chocolates
Diff'rent Strokes complete season 1 dvd
That 70's Show complete season 1 dvd
Friends series 10 dvd boxset
Dungeons and Dragons complete series dvd boxset
Quite a list!! I make no promises of not treating myself to a few of these beforehand! Naturally, I need to make sure that I get some things on my list- out of my own pocket or someone else's!
I could add more (and probably will)

Life often leaves us standing bare, naked and dejected with a lost opportunity. Over the bleached bones and jumbled residues of numerous civilizations are written the pathetic words: "Too late."

There's an insane amount of DVD's I want:

(Upcoming)
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Will most likely get this before Christmas because I'm impatient)
Daredevil: Director's Cut
Spider-Man 2
Gilmore Girls: Season 2
The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement
Mary Poppins: 40th Anniversary Edition
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King - Extended Edition
The King of Kings: Criterion Collection

(Already Out)
A.I.: Artificial Intelligence
Big Fish
Bridget Jones' Diary: Collector's Edition
Freaky Friday (2003)
Friends: Season 8
Gilmore Girls: Season 1
The Golden Girls: Season 1
Gone with the Wind: Collector's Edition
Hellboy: Director's Cut
Nell
Panic Room: Special Edition
The Parent Trap (1998)
Shrek 2
Signs
Walt: The Man Behind the Myth

And in terms of non-DVD items, I'd really like to get my whole room redone with new furniture, flooring, and paint on the walls. My parents said they plan on doing it, but they didn't say when so having a newly refurbished room by Christmas would be great. I also really want The Complete Hitchhiker's Guide by Douglas Adams which I know I'm gonna love based on the excerpts I've read. Oh, and a camcorder would be nice, too since it'd further fuel my passion for filmmaking. :D

Well, I don't know. I guess, as always, gift certificates ... cause I can make use of them (like, say, to Borders, cause you can use it in the actual store, or also in conjuction with Amazon.com, as they're online partners), but ...

Today, at Disney Store, I saw this 40 dollar Stitch ... a really big, plush Stitch. :D

That would be nice. I have a dozen Disney Store Stitches, but they're all smaller (but wonderful, all of them). This one's big. I might get it for myself and save it for Christmas. I can't resist. :)

Stitch stuff.

I might ask for another season of Deep Space Nine, but wouldn't be able to ask for much else, as those things are expensive (though worth it).

I guess I would have to think about it further. Admittedly, there's not a lot I "need."

Video games:

--Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
--La Pucelle: Tactics
--Disgaea: Hour of Darkness
--Phantom Brave
--Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls

Unfortunately, I think I already know what I'll be getting, and it's not video games or DVDs (or even CDs or books, for that matter).

For me:

A letter from my university dean with my diploma saying I don't need to keep studying since he already found me a job were they going to train me and teach me everything I need. On top of that a ticket flight back to Spain, the key to a year in advance paid apartment and some money to help me begin there. 8)

... Ok, that's not a wish, that's a miracle. But still, you can hope but dream.

DVD's talking:

Xena Season 2 till 5. They're expensive.

and Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital (never saw the series but I've seen the DVD and the synopsis and look really promising). If someone knows about that, please send me a PM.

And the Friday the 13th pack, the Child's Play pack and Alien Quadrology.

Other than that I guess I pretty much have all the movies I wanted.

-about 20 DVD's, including I Robot, ROTK EE, Harry Potter, The Terminal, and possibly Shrek 2 if they release a widescreen version.
-Phantom of the Opera playing in the local cineplex
-a guitar
-the infamous DVD Recorder

Quite a pricy list for 23 items.
