The Princess Diaries
Now that The Princess Diaires 2: A Royal Engagment has been realsed into theaters. I am wondering which one everyone enjoyed more. The first one or the 2nd one? I will post my vote a little later on

I havn't seen Princess Diaries 2 and I am not going to. It looks really stuped. I am going to vote for Princess Diaries 1.

I don't know how I missed this thread before. As much as I like the sequel, I like the original better. I think the biggest factor that comes into play on that is the fact that the original's dramatic scenes were somewhat tongue-in-cheek whereas the sequel takes itself more seriously (which for a light film like this is somewhat dangerous). I will say, though, that I like how much broader and less claustrophobic the sequel was than the original (which only seemed to have like 3 sets).

The Princess Diaries is way better then the sequel it's my opinion so I have to be heard I prefer to buy Mary Poppins: Special Edition then The Princess Diaries 2: A Royal Engagement.

I liked them both pretty much the same, although the second one tended to be a lot more "Royal".
