YAY, MY ACCEPTANCE LETTER CAME IN! COME JANUARY 2005, I'LL BE WORKING AT WALT DISNEY WORLD FOR EIGHT GLORIOUS MONTHS!

LOL, sorry for the all caps. I get to do Quick Service Food & Beverage, and it's the indoor/outdoor one, which means I won't get stuck inside in a hot kitchen for 10 hours a day. My sister, Sami Jane (aka JaneMccoy here), worked last spring at Attractions, and I wanted Attractions (mainly Jungle Cruise or Haunted Mansion), but I'm just SO DAMN GLAD THAT I GOT IN!!!

Woo-hoo, that make 3 UD'ers that have/will be working at WDW:

JaneMccoy - worked at Attractions, is seasonal
Aaron - where are you working Aaron?? Maybe we can meet up, lol.
Escapay - Food (glorious food...uh, insert the rest of the song from Oliver into here)

Escapay!! Congratulations!! As a fellow acceptee, I know just how exciting it is!

I'm not down there yet and I'm still so indecisive about when I'm going. There's a 30% chance right now that it will be this coming semester, so maybe I'll see you down there. One of my best friends wants to apply and audition, so I may try to coordinate it with when she can go. I'll be in touch as I find out more.

Thanks everyone, I'll be sure to have extra fun and send some of it to you guys (in spirit of course since I don't have any addresses, lol).

The internship is so far away (timewise), though I'd rather be down there now, lol! I'll arrive on January 24th, and staying until August 19, so if anyone's there in that time window, look me up. I'll try and post on the boards whilst down there.

Aaron, when I confirmed my acceptance, they had two dates left for Spring Advantage (assuming you're doing Spring Advantage), and they were 1/24-8/19 or 1/31-8/19. But if you're doing just Spring or Summer, they might be different dates. Either way, maybe we'll run into each other down there.

Damn, I shoulda requested a nametag that said Escapay from the EAC rather than Albert from (Hometown)!
