I strangely noticed this in retail too when I was in Stowe last weekend... there were quite a few copies on shelf at Coconuts.

WOW!

I mean I might actually buy the Snow White and Beauty And The Beast Platinum DVD, now since I missed them when they were in print, since I didn't get a DVD player until about April of 2003 last year.

My Snow White just came in the mail today from BB. Came sealed in good condition with the original $5 off sticker on the front (expires 2002 - lol). Also came with an envelope attached with a Buena Vista sticker on it which included a CD-ROM of a Toy Story 2 game. Nice to get this without having to deal with Ebay.

Did Buena Vista find a bunch of these in some warehouse and ship them off to BB and Amazon?

I ordered the Behind the Scenes treasure with Tin from best buy today, as someone said, its a lot better than having to go through ebay. I'm missing Davey Crockett, but Best Buy said that one is sold out.

Who knows, but I'm not complaining! I just ordered the Tarzan CE through the site's Best Buy link. The price tag is a little steep- I think I could come off a little cheaper on eBay, but this way I avoid worries/inconveniences regarding fraud, money orders, high shipping costs, etc, and I get a brand new straight-from-factory DVD instead of a used one. Thanks for posting this on the front page, Luke! Hopefully I ordered in time... before they run out!

Luckily, I already precured a totally legit and pristine copy of Snow White off of eBay last year for just under $30 (shipping and all).

Now we must all keep our eyes peeled at Amazon, Best Buy, and others for the Fantasia Anthology, past Disney treasures, and even the Ultimate Toy Box!!

Meh, I bought a brand-new Tarzan Collector's Edition from a power seller on Ebay for $64.99 just a few days ago. Needless to say, it was very bad timing. I ordered it from Best Buy anyway though - hopefully, I can sell my extra copy and make back some money.

I would also like to request if anyone in the US could order me a copy of Snow White Platinum Edition DVD from BestBuy because I live in Australia and they don't ship to here, it would be greatly appreciated. I'll also pay back for the shipping cost.

I know this may be a little off topic here but just the other day, I saw a boat load of Sleeping Beauty DVDs for sale at a store. None of them had the slip cover though...but TONS of them for sale! Didn't even see that many when it was originally released last year. Already have mine though, with the slip cover.

They probably just are trying to unload extra stock they found in the back of a warehouse...I remember once a couple years ago, Star Trek Magazine announced they found several boxes of action figures from 1993, and were selling them through the magazine. I wanted to get some of them (they were mediocre figures, Admiral McCoy, Commander Sisko, Q), but didn't.
