UK Mulan and Mulan 2 announcement!

Post by 2099net »

Look, with about a month until release! Thanks for the advance warning Buena Vista Home Entertainment UK!

http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=13009
Singing sensation Christina Aguilera sings “Reflections” exclusively on the disc whilst the hugely popular Stevie Wonder performs “True to Your Heart” with 98º.
Exclusively on the disc? What the heck does that mean?

See the kiddie stuff gets preference to the more adult stuff in the press release.

No mention of the Atomic Kitten video for Mulan II. :(

Do you own the old DVD of Mulan? Because if you do hold onto it! It was recalled because it contains a headbutt scene which should've been cut out, and will probably be missing from the upcoming DVD, although who knows?

I can confirm the Headbutt is missing from the new UK Mulan 2 disc set.

Where exactly does the headbutt occur?

I think it's on the balcony when Shang tries to stop Shan-Yu and Shan-Yu headbutts him? It's been a while since I saw the movie though...

Yes, Jens it right. In the UK edit, we just see Mulan's reaction to the sound-effect.

I suspect the UK has their own disc, as the only language is English. Where as the second disc has a number of European lanaguages.

What's the point in having millions of languages for the bonus features and only one for the movie? And why do they have only English on UK Disney releases?

Well, its recently been for a native language DTS track. But in Mulan's case I suspect it's because the UK has an edited release.
