I think it is -- maybe that's because I like the Aladdin sequels a lot, but in any case, Disney will consider it a major release and be promoting it as they would any other DTV. It does seem a little bit like they're shoving it out there as a 2-pack to get it done with, as they could have done that easily with BATB's sequels and didn't (Lion King was a special case because one of them was new.) But a 2-pack does seem logical; by pairing them, they're essentially creating a 2-disc set, and those always sell better than singles because people assume there's more on them (though I doubt that's true with the Aladdin sequels contentwise, nessesarily.)Luke wrote: I wouldn't classify the Aladdin Sequels 2-Pack as "major" but that's there too.
The only problem I have with believing Dumbo will be there is that we've not heard any rumbelings about it like we did with Alice, Pocahontas, Lilo & Stitch and Mary Poppiins. Then again, they did pull a fast one on us with Mulan, as well, so, they very well might. I hope they carry over the stuff from the 60th Anniversary Edition since I don't have it yet -- especially the Michael Crawford Baby Mine music video, as I'm a huge phan of his (;) and don't have it yet.
L&S2 -- I dunno. If a theatrical release for the summer was planned, it would have to be around May, so as to not give Disney's own Chicken Little any sizeable competition. (A new L&S theatrical release would, definately, be competition.) It is still DisneyToon Studios and not Feature Animation, but some of the crew have been involved in it, and Chris Sanders obviously as both a story person and the voice of Stitch, so that gives it a little something extra that the cheapquels don't usually have. Not to mention they have been improving vastly (look at Lion King 1.5 and Three Musketeers.)
Pocahontas will definately be out in the first half of next year, though, yeah.
