What Are You Buying On DVD This Week? (10/12)

Post by AwallaceUNC »

JJJ tells me he's a little busy right now, so I thought I'd post this week's.

No surprise for what I got. None of the others interest me to the point of purchase at this time except for Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, which I'll have to pick up sometime.

Winnie the Pooh: ABC's and 123's!!!

Just kidding. Actually, nothing even interests me this week. This may be the last week of the year that I can say that.

It's not a new release, but I'm thinking about getting Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home this week (possibly tomorrow) ... as I watched it on an old VHS tape over my fall break, and now want the DVD. It shouldn't be that expensive. 17 or 18 dollars. I think it's the most satisfying Trek film. It's nice.

While my focus will definately be turning to the hardware side of things with the new house. If it wasnt though Taxi S1 is great and Day After Tomorrow certainly looked excellent.

Hey, Aaron this isn't a DVD, man.

I am so jelous!!! :x hehe :) They haven't even released the first Volume here, I've been nagging the poor people at Madman (a company that releases overseas stuff here in Australia on DVD and VHS), but their replies are "we are currently investigating the possibility of this release". And I can't buy stuff on the Internet (it BURNS!!!!) So, hopefully they will do it soon!!!

Anyway... I chose none, none of those really interest me, I have to save up for Mulan, I love that movie :P

Not buying anything (saving for my huge November surge, most notably Spider Man 2, Shrek 2, Harry Potter, The Terminal and Around the World in Eighty Days), but I rented Day After Tomorrow (which if I had the coin woulda bought). Great film, GET IT NOW!!!!!
