Did anyone use the "Favorites" feature?

Post by Luke »

If not, I won't even bother installing it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I gather you didn't use it. It was a way to track your "Favorite Topics" and the link would appear above next to Usergroups, which now that I think about, is pretty useless itself.

I would use it if I can figure out how it works. Is anyone else planning to it, or am I the only person? :)

How it worked - there'd be a little choice at the bottom of a thread to add to your Favorites and then the Favorites section would be up top with Memberlist and Usergroups and what not. And then you could keep tabs on threads that you really fancied.

It's quick to install - so I do that later, when I look for other possible enhancements.

Thanks. I'll try it. I was wondering where the link to favorites was.

It was not something I ever used (or was aware of to be honest).

Don't think I would now, but if it is no hassle to install...

I don't see a "Track Favorites" link, but I do see "Watch this topic for replies". I'm going use this feature because I might forget what topics I've participated in. I've been busy final exams and registering for new classes lately.

I seem to have a habit of replying to year-old threads. lol!

Hmm, I never noticed it, so no, I never used it. It sounds like it would be a cool option for people that don't surf the whole MB, but just certain threads.

Sometimes the link in my "Topic Reply Notification" messages don't work. The link in my email points to a nonexistant topic/thread.

Here's the link in my latest email:
"Your Personal Disney Pictures!"

But the real topic is at:

I think what happened there is Escapay made a double post and I deleted the duplicate. That's why the link didn't work, since that post was deleted...but the thread it was in still works fine.

Yeah, I did do the double post (don't know how it happened, though). There used to be a post above my current post there which I edited so it just said "double post". Thanks for deleting it, Luke!

I always used the favorite feature on MSN to save all the sites I want to go to first instead of wasting time guessing the website.
I have other things on favorites like DVDanswers, TV guide, Disney website and other important websites.
The Simpsons Season 11 Buy it Now!

Fox Sunday lineup:

8:00 The Simpsons
8:30 King of the Hill
9:00 Family Guy
9:30 American Dad
