UK Treasure Planet withdrawn?

Post by 2099net »

A friend told me he read in a newspaper that the UK Treasure Planet DVD was withdrawn because some 18 certificate trailers were included on the disc by accident.

However I've just spent about 20 mins searching the web, and can find no reference to this.

Did anyone see this newspaper story? or better yet, have a UK disc with 18 certificate trailers on?

It would be sure funny if that is true (doubt it though). I've got the R1 DVD so I don't know but if that is true that people that have those DVD's have real collectors items!

My local WH Smiths has no more Treasure Planet DVD's in stock, and doesn't know when they will be getting more in :o

But they no nothing of a recall, so who knows what's going on? Somehow I doubt the withdrawal information is legitimate.
