Anyone else a bit freaked out by the big buglike eyes on everyone in that group picture? :o :o

Also, I love the menu graphics, they're very colorful. And I'd love to slide down the bannister on the Games and Activities menu! It looks so long and steep... But I hate how EasyFind has dumbed them down. They're so stark and plain and just dull to look at.

it looks like maybe room for an easter egg on the lone present under the christmas tree on the games and activities menu. hopefully we get a classic disney christmas short :) also, it looks like there might be a holiday feature on the main menu when you highlight the lights button and press enter maybe all of the christmas lights trn on and other moving things start to move (a la the santa clause special edition menu screen). i'm really excited for this one.

:D The first menu looks the best! Such a fun colorful looking house!

The problems with CGI MIckey and Co. are the eyes and plasticity. Something about Mickey not having perfectly round ears no matter which way he turns makes him not Mickey. And Escapay was right about the eyes. They make them lose their initial charm that was only captured by 2D animation. Huey, Dewey and Louie look the worst. Their eyes just look like beads glued on. But otherwise it doesn't look too bad. Santa looks like a Christmas ornament.

I don't think Mickey's ears will ever look right in CG!

Hmm, this DVD includes the infamous Fast Play. I was beginning to think Disney had dropped it, since it hasn't shown up on any other DVD besides "The Three Musketeers" (which is kinda surprising, considering the big deal Disney made about it).

I suspect FastPlay will be mainly reserved for DTV movies. Why? Hu noz.

Goofy: Dum-dee-dum...oh the world owes me a livin'...
Max: Anyone ever notice that Dad and me are the only ones who have teeth?
Huey: Why am I the only duck on this side, while everyone else is over there?
Pluto: Your hand better not be on my ass, you little duck...
Mickey: No, that's my hand, Pluto.
Minnie: Mickey Mouse, stop trying to unhook my bra!
Scrooge: What kind of glasses are these? I can barely see them!
Daisy: Be honest, does it look like I'm wearing a basket on my head?
Donald: Look, everyone's leaning to the side! Now I can let out a silent one...
Dewey: Let's start a wave!
Louie: With this many people? It'll be a ripple!

Max looks weird. The rest don't look so bad. The menus look fantastic! I'll rent this and take it from there.

I'm looking forward to getting this one. Might get an extra copy for my niece. She will be 10 months on Christmas.

I might call him to see if it works.Just Kidding. Yeah it is just part of the movie. But it is kinda cute though.

If you think about it, you'll realize that the letters of Mickey's name translate into that same 6-digit number on the telephone. Those animators are tricky people!

I wonder why they've made Max to be more grown up, but the nephews are all the young selves we saw from the 40s/Duck Tales. Any ideas?

I was thinking the same thing. Disney hardly ever ages their characters (unless it's in the course of the movie, like Bambi).

It's pretty funny that Max was introduced as Goofy's preteen son in cartoon shorts, then as his still preteen son in Goof Troop, but the two Goofy movies and House of Mouse have him as a teenager...then he's a kid again in Once Upon A Christmas...and now he's a teen again in Twice Upon!
