My Platinum List
Better plans for customers. You'd have unprecedented customer satisfaction rates. But at the same time...where are you 10 years from now? You've just emptied the vaults! You're going to have to sell everyone solely on (gasp!) video/audio quality and new games?yoda_four wrote:Now, who thinks I should be running Buena Vista Home Entertainment?! How is it that so many "Everyday Joes" can think of a better plan of releases than the CEOs?
Besides with a Definitive Collection, then everyone would have to buy these movies once. Where's the fun in that?!

The Aladdin Platinum Edition, good as it may be, does not even begin to touch on all the stuff there is on this movie, I know the vaults are still kramed pack full of stuff for this movie, perhaps to be slowly leaked over the next several platinum releases, or whatever Disney decides to do.yoda_four wrote:I completely agree with that! Disney definitely needs a "Definitive Collection", which bases on Aladdin's PE as the perfect starting point. Include EVERYTHING known to exist about that particular film; "Empty the Vaults" so to speak.Prince Adam wrote: Now, if it were up to me, I would scrap the current Platinum line, and re-release all the full-length animated films in 2-disc sets as part of the "Definitive Collection" or the "Classics Collection". But there would be 2-4 released a year, so we wouldn't have to wait too long for Little Mermaid or Aladdin.
The only problem with the definative collection, is that it would cost Disney a lot of money to put all those dvd's together and I just don't think there would be enough of a demand for a lot of them... sorry
Although I do think the majority of the movies do deserve 2 disc treatment and I have no doubt that they will eventually get it.
