Ok, so who knows the e-mail to contact amazon?

I've been searching for quite a time for the correct e-mail but amazon has like thousands of links to possible e-mails but they just can't give you a simple one. :angry:

The Amazon shipping charges are the main reason I don't order from them anymore.

Here in the UK there are loads of other "freepost" options for R1 DVDs...

I can recommend <b>play.com, loaded247.com</b> and <b>cd-wow.com</b>, all of whom have great prices AND great customer service.

My R1 Aladdin DVDs arrived Sep 29th!! (Ironically before my R2 !)

Yeah , DVDSoon is great too (very cheap) but these are canadians websites, so on disney DVDs you'll always have the ugly "Version Française incluse" circle that you get take off ! :twisted: So I order through an american site.

You guys, for Amazon.com we're now settled : the availability of the Gift Set goes from 3 to 6 days of wait !! :x

Don't know what I'm gonna do... :(
Maybe I cancel and try to find the Gift Set in stores in Paris...

Is the only way of getting the gift set in the UK to order the R1 version through a US website? There's no UK gift set with book etc planned? Snow White had one.
Just release every Disney full-length toon on DVD - now, damn you!

No, the only UK gift-set thingy is the Trilogy Digipack. What's odder is France isn't doing a gift-set, as they normally do excellent packages.

Talking of the trilogy, which I just got today and is slightly disappointing presentation wise. No mention on the packaging or inside of any of the supplements at all.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Apparently, Amazon have again the Gift Sets in stock 'coz the availability is said to be 24 hours !! :)

I cancelled my order with amazon. They wrote me to say that they were going to ship it tomorrow because of the amount of orders they got. But I really found that unfair since I placed my order on Sep. 12. And some people that placed their order two days before got it already? :x

Well, sorry. I cancelled my order and bought my set at Costco's for mostly the same price. 8)

I had that problem last year. I Pre-Ordered the Love Bug Special Edition DVD Set 4 months before it was released. And on the day it was released it said shipping soon, and it said shipping soon for the next 2 weeks. So I cancelled my order than re-ordered it. And It shipped the day after I re-ordered it. And I also requested 1 day mail.

My Collectors gift set FINALLY shipped today after I complained twice to Amazon... At least they upgraded to faster shipping at no additional cost.

Sighhh.... I hope the Mulan Special edition DVD will not be the same fiasco !

My Gift Set, shipped Tuesday late afternoon, arrived Today !!!!! So glad ! :D :)

So, I wanted to let you know Tony that my Amazon box DIRECTLY comes from the Amazon center in Neveda, without any bend to anywhere in the world.... So now if you tell me that you orders come from Honh Kong I beleive you but not my case.
See Tony, It went quick, no problem, even you got your box shipped !... :D

At least we now all have the gift set or are about to get it...

Wow, you did get yours very fast, considering it came from Nevada. Did you choose "priority shipping" ?? If you did, I'm glad you can afford as that is very expensive. I'll let you know when I receive mine if it comes from Hong Kong or not. Will be interesting too see.

You will have to buy a multi-region DVD player... You don't want to miss out on these beautiful sets....

Multi-region DVD players have come down in price considerably over the past 2 years or so... (at least in Australia, but I'm sure it is the same in France). If there is anyway you can get one.. DO IT !!.. (hee hee)

Yeah I did take the "Priority shipping" and it took 1 day and an half to go from Neveda to Paris :D The main reason I didi it was that I had a 30$ gift certificate to use, so my shipping was paid entirely :-) and as I also wantedc to recieve it before I go to school again (yeurk, on Monday :( lol) to really have the time to explore and enjoy the DVD and the Gift Set, so... I took the prioriuty shipping :)

But don't worry : my former orders shipped with the "standard international" shipping method (the cheapest) or the one that is just a little bit more expensive, I receive my orders in 5-15 days, but more globaly, in an average of 7-10 days. :)
