I recently had the opportunity to buy a real Disney animation desk, my undertanding was that was used for their tv productions in the 90's. Unfortunately I hesitated too much, as It would have been 7 thousand dollars, which was about 2 thousand more than I was really wanting to spend at the top end, but I do have it and was just about to say screw it and just buy the thing, but by the time I decided, it was too late. Now I'm not sure when I'll get another chance. I guess I'll just keep an eye out for one.

Its probably for the best, as that would be about half of my life savings, lol.

Anyway, here's a fun piece of fan animation where someone reimagines a scene from Aladdin, if they had smartphones, its kind of funny.

I am sorry you lost out on the animation desk, Kyle. I hope you get the chance again, and that it is also more the price you want!

I had seen that Aladdin and Jasmine with phones animation before, but never watched it with sound. It’s really funny, and pretty good animation! It’s cool they did that! Is it from Cal Arts, that taught so many Disney animators? Is that place even still around and teaching hand-drawn?
