Of course they are going to tell more things about Emily. The trailer shows flashbacks and it seems that Jessie is going to be the main character in this movie so yes, I'm sure that they will tell everything.

I do admit that I didn't know how to bring him back at first, and so I just, 'cause I know it's gonna take so many drafts to get the movie right, I just wrote the first one without him just to see if I missed him. And, I did. So I said, alright, we're gonna have to work a little harder and figure out how to make this not just a knee-jerk reaction and make it something that's earned to make 'em come in. We finally figured it out and now I can't imagine it any other way.

My rule is if you take something out, especially a character, would the story be able to happen with or without them? And if it can't, that means good, that they had to be essential no matter how much, it may not be obvious that they're the role they're playing in the movie.

Toy Story 5 is the fifth movie in a 31-year-old franchise, so it’s not oversaturated by any means.

Has anyone noticed much hype for this movie? I haven't really from my circle, but then I also haven't really been looking for it. And if this movie is looking at breaking records, then I have to imagine someone has been asking for it.

It may just be happening in circles we're not a part of.

Or, we really are living in a landscape where ticket-buyers make their decisions not based on what kinds of movies they actually like, but on what they feel obligated to indulge in to stay part of the in-crowd. And then they go onto YouTube and post comments griping about why it is that half of all movies feel like they were written at 3 in the morning
