Tony DeRosa Left Disney
Anthony DeRosa who is a veteran 2D animator and had been working at Disney since the early '80s has left the studio. He worked on almost every movie of the Disney Renaissance and he's most known for being the supervising animator of Bernard from The Rescuers Down Under, Nala from The Lion King, Nakoma from Pocahontas, Zeus and Hera from Hercules, Moliere from Atlantis, and Lawrence from The Princess and the Frog. He transitioned to CG animation and worked on many CG films such Moana, Zootopia, Frozen 2, Encanto, Raya, among others. The last film he worked on there was Zootopia 2.

I didn't know him really before this thread, but I imagine that's the case for a lot of talent behind-the-scenes. He got to experience quite a wide range of times for Disney (both good and bad), didn't he? Lucky him to have been a part of it all and getting to go out on a hit.
