The plot reminds me a little bit to H20 just add water. Teenage girls who turned into mermaids (in this case the main character discovers it) and then they have to deal with the problems of the double identity, the boys and all this teenager problems.
However I think that is going to be interesting. Mermaids are really beloved so they can have a huge success if they do a good job.

It's a very iconic show and in my opinion they did it really good with the plot. The handmade tails were a great choice and it doesn't look bad even if you watch the show now. I would like to see handmade tails in this new show but knowing how everything works now I expect a cheap CGI look and not much scenes in the mermaid tails to not spend much
