Honestly feels like something you would have seen from House of Mouse or something. Now I need a bit with all the animated characters responding to reports of their films being remade in live-action.

Iโd love to see Snow White take down Zegler but the real Snow is too kind and has class.

Re: The Lion King Discussion
I also came across those short Lion King Fan animations a few months ago, those look extremely faithful, first one could be really something out of the 1994 movie.

yes DustyDisney Duster wrote: โFri Apr 18, 2025 10:59 pmI guess that was Jeremy Irons, Scar's real original voice actor and his real response?
Yeah its giving House of Mouse, its funny how Jeremys voice automatically IS Scar, even when i see him in movies talking i just think of Scar lolPatchofBlue wrote: โSat Apr 19, 2025 1:51 am Honestly feels like something you would have seen from House of Mouse or something. Re: The Lion King Discussion
Oh, no. That's so sad to hear.
It's weird that we're in a space now where we're losing so many of the artists and actors who brought The Disney Renaissance to life. It's a time that's receding further and further into history.
These are obviously whole human beings with lives that exist far beyond their professional and public work, but as it pertains specifically to their work with Disney, this kind of awareness is part of what makes me take seriously things like commemorative panels and cast & crew retrospectives. Like, they won't always be around to share vital insights into the creation of these works.
Here's another obituary.
