Been buyind dvds this week (sales) after a hiatus since last christmas:

Disney:
toy story

toy story 2

monsters inc

Non- disney:
Night of the hunter (hope this one's good- had conflicting recommendations on this one)

Life And Death Of Colonel Blimp / A Matter Of Life And Death

It's a wonderful life

Sunset Bouvelard (love the noir genre)

Rear Window

Vertigo

Night of the Living dead (original B&W version not the remake)- they were giving this away free to uk residents, so I'm not complaining- loved the claustrophbia when I saw it yrs ago. Incidentally if anyone in the UK wants it, use this link: http://www.bensons-world.co.uk/dvd/prod ... 069879.asp in the next week or 2- costs £1-50 including packing (well the mag said free with £1-50 p&p but same thing). Don't need to get anything along with it.

(am I allowed to admit liking other non-disney stuff here?)

Yup. We're all Disney fans, but that's certianly not all we like. I'll only post the Disney releases in the Releases threads, but, yes, you are allowed to admit liking non-Disney stuff; I think we all do.
