Saw the movie today! My friend was in town and this was the flick we landed on.

I had a great time— it’s no masterpiece, but anybody expecting that going in deserves to be disappointed. It’s a cocktail of nostalgia being served up for us baby Millennials and elder Gen Z’s. It’s a comeback for Lindsay— I’d love to see Disney (or even Tina Fey) give her another vehicle after this. Hopefully something original, though. It’s just good, clean, mid-budget sized, nostalgia-fueled fun.

I won’t spoil it, but my favorite joke comes at the very end.

Saw the movie this weekend and I have to say that I really enjoyed it! Lindsay is funnier in this movie and Jamie Lee is amazing like always. Both teenagers are great and they made a really good job playing as Anna and Tess. The plot is simple but it's well made and the easer eggs are not repetitive and unnecessariness. In my opinion it's a very well made sequel and it's better than any other like Disenchanted or Hocus Pocus 2.

Will go tomorrow to see it. :D super excited, as the 2003 movie is one of my favorites. :)

I had a lot of fun watching it. It had a lot of heart and the cast was perfect. It was kinda cheesy at some points, but overall, a very good sequel!

does anyone know why Julie Gonzalo did not return for this? Especially since she also worked with Jamie Lee Curtis. In Christmas with the Kranks and Chad Michael Murray, in the original A Cinderella story? Just seems strange, but they literally brought back all of the main supporting characters from the first one except for her and obviously Harold Gould as the grandpa because he’s long passed away, but it makes me wonder, especially with this if something happened between her and either of the other two actors that prevented her from returning because she easily could’ve been Elaine Hendrix’s role instead

The character was not important enough to bring it back but it woluld have been funny to see her as a competitive mother who's jelous of Ana.

PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that the hit Disney sequel will be available to rent or own on digital Tuesday, Oct. 7, then on Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, Nov. 11.
No mention of a 4K release, nor any reissues of the 1976 and 2003 films which were released on Blu-ray as Disney Movie Club Exclusives, and are now out-of-print.

I will be curious to see if Disney/Fox’s upcoming legacy sequels to The Devil Wears Prada and The Princess Diaries get 4K releases when the time comes…

There’s a two movie collection of the DVD versions of them coming though, the 2003 and Freakier Friday here
