I don't remember what the funny picture thread is called, but this is Covid-related so it fits here. I thought it had some clever memes:

I got my booster the other day

Not that it helps much given how things have been messed up here in Australia. I’am still scared to even enjoy a picnic with my friends :(

You're part of the solution, though, getting your booster, so thank you for getting it. If more people got their shots, we wouldn't be in quite the mess we're in. :(. Try and keep safe.

It is true that getting your booster is being part of the solution. I’ll be trying to stay safe as well. We’re well vaccinated here but restrictions were eased at a terrible time.

I've recently undergone a series of surgeries for a spinal issue, and I'm now in the middle of a long recovery process. The physical therapy sessions are tough, and the whole experience has been more draining than I anticipated.
One thing that's been surprisingly helpful is CBD. Yeah, CBD. I was skeptical at first, but it's really made a difference in managing the pain and stress that come with all this. I'm subscribed to Releaf, a medical cannabis clinic, and they take care of it all.

I had to put my dog Trixi down yesterday. While she had been to the vet's a lot lately, that was for tummy issues. I brought her in yesterday for a limp, and it turned out to be sudden onset bone cancer. She was 14 years old and pain medicine I had her on only was a Band-aid and clearly wasn't doing the job so it was really the only humane option. My heart is broken. I can't even keep food down I'm so sad. She was a great dog. I'm down to one dog left of my pack, Lucy. She was looking for Trixi this morning and that was really sad.

And I found out that my ex-husband got remarried (which I don't care about) and I googled that he sold the house. (My dad asked if I told him about Trixi and he wanted a paw print and he said his wife can meet me to swap the paw print and with items of mine that he has (that he never told me about). What a day. The ex stuff it is what it is, but my heart is broken for my dog. I know she's in a better place with her siblings now but it's really hard .

Amy, I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your pet. I know how much you care for your animals, I’m sure Trixi (and Lucy) were the best loved dogs on the planet. It is kind of you to give a memento of Trixi to your ex. Wishing you peace and healing at this time, and sending virtual hugs.

Thank you <3. I appreciate your kind words. Lucy has been very vocal the past couple hours so I think she either misses her sister or is afraid she'll be alone or something. It's sad.

Poor Lucy, it must be very hard to watch her. You are both grieving. I know it will take a while to get through this, but I hope things get a bit better everyday.

I'm sorry, blackcauldron85. :( At least when there's severe pain of that kind, there is some small comfort that there was no other option and now there can be no more suffering.

Thank you. <3. I do take solace knowing she's not hurting. Lucy just looked for her sister again. It's so heartbreaking. I got through work today (I took the past couple days off) and I cried a lot, but I made it.
