I know what you are saying. I always felt that the first Matrix was way over praised. It was a great film, but I had people looking at me blankly, saying "This is the greatest movie ever captured on film!" There were practically hordes of people following me, saying that in unison. Okay, maybe not that bad, but you get what I mean. Then the second Matrix comes out and everyone says all these things about it that were untrue. I recall people saying that there was a 15 minute 'rave' scene in it for no reason... it was actually like a 3 minute tribal celebration scene. Anyways, yeah people get this crap in their heads and for the most part it seems to come from hearing reviews and then just repeating what they hear.

I try to enjoy myself when I see a movie and as far as the SW prequels go, I've had a blast. They've been a heck of a lot of fun and if people can't enjoy them, that's their problem and I really feel bad for them. I tell you what, I am already having a blast with Episode III, and its not even out for 2 months! I've been finding the promotional stuff in stores, Rice Crispy Treat squares, Cheez-Its, Pop Tarts, cereals, Skittles... lots of junk food! I've been sending for the promo offers and have been hunting the figures and things down like a big treasure hunt. Its the last film in the series and I intend to enjoy it as much as I possibly can.

Clone Wars: Volume 1 is a great DVD for any Star Wars fan. I was pleased that they actually included bonus features for this release, unlike the previous Ewoks/Droids discs. I give it 4/5 stars.

One final note: the commentary tracks are very redundant. The Hyperspace track is the better of the two, so I recommend just watching that one and saving the hour.

Enter 1138 on the Options menu for the DVD credits!

The 1138 trick was actually the first thing I did with this DVD. I consider it a missed opportunity. Even though it is not live-action, they could have created a couple of "outtakes" for the DVD credits in the time they had.
