I know that it sounds weird since the series is a prequel and I thought it's something from early version of Little Mermaid II but they said it's part of the series, here:

Even under they worte Ariel's Undersea Adventures which is one of the names of the series, maybe in an early version the series was about Ariel's life on land and they decided to make it about her life under the sea.

Well just to throw you all is a tissy. I'm pretty sure the story board is a suggestion for a new animated series.

Hense why in this article...http://animated-views.com/2008/disneyto ... od-carter/... which is what Sprince is refering to, it states it's for a series. The series is called Ariel's Undersea Adventures.

In any case you are all wrong.

Edit: Good work Sprince, we got to it at about the same time!

About singerguy04's idea-It could be a new deleted series also based on The Little Mermaid or an eariler version of the series that was about Ariel's life on land like I said.

The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning

Post by Disney Duster »

AV: You also did a “White Whale Chase” sequence involving Little Mermaid characters. What was that?

TC: This sequence was actually mocked up for a storyboarding test I did for Disney TV, when I was toying with the idea of moving to L.A.
Probably wasn't for a new series. He just thought he'd do that as an example.

Looks to be so Sprince. I would've thought that a test would've garnered some sort of idea that disney might've been considering a new show. But then again, it could be just something to put into a resume. I mean i've kind of done the same with putting some random set design pieces that i've drafted in my portfolio. They aren't exactly for anything, but they show what I can do.

It seems that Steven Thompson was the one who designed the cover for the DVD.
