Yes. It's odd they're singling out Belle now by featuring her with her peasant outfit without doing the same for other princesses like Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, and Tiana all of whom have commoner or less flashy dresses.
A ballgown is perfect to make a marathon. Next year Adidas is going to release a ballgown collection made with cotton and Sketchers are going to release a special line made of glass
I saw yesterday this new pic of the Princesses with a new art style on X. Tiana is in the middle and SW is excluded. I don't know why they did that. It doesn't have any sense to exclude her and not Raya when she's so unpopular. And I also don't understand why Tiana was in the middle when there are other princesses more popular. Cinderella should be the one who's in the middle...

What an ugly art style. Thankfully, it's just for the book "Princess Block". Snow White was, in fact, included, by the way. She just got cropped out by the person who took that photo.
I, too, have noticed that Tiana is recently being put in the middle of various group artwork. It's either a synergy thing with Disney trying to push her more due to recent Tiana projects such as Tiana's Bayou Adventure and the upcoming Tiana special and/or they are trying to address fan accusations of them neglecting their princesses of color or placing them in the back of the group by now featuring them more front and center.
This new image is really cut but I don't understand why they are still using this art style when they change the style of the brand to this new style that makes them to look like 3D characters :S
Sometimes new products featuring a previous art style come out either due to a mix-up or because they were in the works before the style was changed or because licensees and other collaborators did not receive the updated materials in time.
For example, a new product has just come out on the Disney Store that uses art of the princesses in the 2012 style.
I guess the barrier's been broken and the princesses are allowed to look at each other now.

Oh, what a cute new image!! My only nitpick— I hate it when the only joke they have for Aurora is: she’s asleep.
You just know Tiana and Belle are laughing at her behind her back.

I know, in the Spanish magazing they are still using the 2012 style sometimes. I don't like it at all but I understand that they have to use all their artworks as much as they can to earn as much money as they can.
The other day I also saw this puzzles with this 3d style but in my opinion they look even more 3d here than in the artworks that they have been using the last months
The gowns look really nice because this style add more volume to them. Unfortunately they didn't chose the better poses for the artwork. Some of them look like they have some issues with their bones and Aurora looks like if she was suffering an embolism with her eye closed.
Another thing that is weird is Jasmine's skin tone. It's going darker each year. In the movie she is not as dark as in the merchandise from the last years.

That puzzle makes them look gorgeous! Well, except they got Jasmine's skin wrong.
But it seems that Disney wants to make her darker in al l their new products. Mattel's dolls and Disney store's look more dark now than a few years ago. And it's not a little bit:
Jasmine skin has like a red undertone. In my opinion this one looks much better:
She doesn't look so dark in the movie to me. I understand that they want to make her look like the kind of Arabian woman that people have in mind.
I don't think that's an error on their part; it's by design. Disney is so afraid of being accused of colorism and whitewashing, they are overcorrecting. They are doing the same to Tiana and Pocahontas as well albeit to a lesser degree.

In my opinion they are making an awful job because these princesses are not white in their movies and you can feel it. They doesn't look like Caucasian and both of them have a skin that tends to go to brown with a little touch of red. Jasmine maybe has been represented before with her skin a little bit paleness but Pocahontas has always been portrayed with a brown skin, they never made her look white....
In this artwork jasmine almost has the same skin tone than Tiana. Making this in their products only brings confusion to kids because she doesn't look this way in the movie.
I echo how great Brelly feels these pictures are. I think the only things I have to add is it's good to see Jasmine's coloring right and it's freaking hilariously adorable to see Cinderella's moment with Lucifer.
These new pics are amazing! they all look amazing. I love to see that they are using other outfits for these new pics. The princesses have lot of outfits and it's boring to watch them always in the same costumes.
