I saw pictures on Instagram— I agree with the headline, it is a stunning marquee, and fits better with DHS’ overall aesthetic. Good photo op for TLM fans!

It looks great but the old one was so nostalgic...I'm gonna miss it so much.

Wow Jodi got way more emotional than I expected. She really loves Ariel, the film, and probably was thinking of how Howard couldn't see the show. The show is excellent. I like the old one better, but I think objectively the new one is a better show with how it tells the story, and we get more of the film's story. They did a great job with how Ariel sings in "Under the Sea", why didn't they do it like that for the remake?

I really liked too but there are some things that I didn't like at all.
The CGI characters looks great but I have some problems with the real ones, more specifically with Ariel. Her tai looks like a sponge to me and it looks like a puritan version of her. I don't know why they are so hypocrites to cover her in some shows but at the same time they are selling merchandise with her original outfit in the shop that is outside the theater.... Ariel is a mermaid and she only wears a seashell top. She has been popular since 1989, there's no need to change anything to make her less sexual. She looks really bad. The gown that she wears by the end of the show doesn't look great either. I would love to see a gown more like the silver/grey one that she wears by the end of the movie. I understand that's hard to adapt.
However Flounder and Sebastian look really cute.

They probably covered her bra up so much to hide the dress she wears underneath.

She wears another outfit for the transformation scene with a more simple tail. In my opinion the old version looked better:

They probably thought her having a bra in the first costume and a more covered up top in the second costume for her transformation would be weird. That said, I agree they should have done the original show's transformation idea where she has a bra and her tail becomes a skirt. That is what they did originally, right?
