Rank The Live Action Disney Princesses

Now that they finished adapting all the pre 2009 Princesses into live action remakes (we know they'll never do Pocahontas), how would you rank them?

Here is the list by order of release:
1. Aurora - Elle Fanning
2. Cinderella - Lily James
3. Belle - Emma Watson
4. Jasmine - Naomi Scott
5. Mulan - Liu Yifei
6. Ariel - Halle Bailey
7. Snow White - Rachel Zegler

Ranking primarily by performance of the actress

1. Lily James - Cinderella
2. Naomi Scott - Jasmine
3. Halle Bailey - Ariel
4. Elle Fanning - Aurora
5. Rachel Zegler - Snow White
6. Liu Yifei - Mulan
7. Emma Watson - Belle

Love Emma Watson, but she was completely coasting as Belle, and her stunt left lasting damage on the discourse.

The top three are the only ones I'd say actually lived up to the role. Everyone else just falls on varying levels of disappointing or frustrating.

Lily was just so at home in her role that she was always going to take the top spot. I gave Naomi the slight edge over Halle just because her face-acting had a little more going for it.

Excellent thread, Farerb! My list would be like this. And yes, I know that I`m repeating myself, but it would be wasted to not elaborate on my opinions.

1. Cinderella - Lily James. James managed to play the part with grace and sweetness.
2. Ariel - Halle Bailey. Bailey was mostly appealing in her part, had screen presence and frankly did a fine job.
3. Snow White - Rachel Zegler. Despite all the controversy surronded Zegler, she managed to be appealing enough.
4. Jasmine - Naomi Scott. Perhaps Scott didn`t display much charisma, but frankly she was appealing and graceful in her part. Frankly, she was superior to the animated Jasmine, as she was less catty and harpy (sorry, Jasmine fans).
5. Belle - Emma Watson. Frankly, Watson was too prententious in her role and never managed to display warmth or inner beauty, as the role of Belle required.
6. Aurora - Elle Fanning. Frankly, the serious miscast of Malifecent. Fanning was too young, too plain and too bland as her role.
7. Mulan - Liu Yifei. Simply the same applies to Yifei as to Fanning.

Aladdin ended up winning both lists for me. I love the top 3 to varying degrees. Yifei and Zegler are both fine / serviceable. Not fond of James as Cinderella, but she's not as unlike Cinderella as Fanning is unlike Aurora. Fanning seems sweet and admittedly Aurora is a flat character which is probably why they felt they could play around with her the way they did with the flat Walt princes, but she's just...nothing like Aurora, not even vaguely.

I think Naomi was best, then Lily. I think those were the only two good ones and yes I have bias I know.
