12. Jude Law
This list is more complicated than with the other two. I like them all--in different ways. Law and Stone both act their parts well even though they look nothing like Hook or Cruella at all... I remember Ejiofor being fine although "Be Prepared" was terrible; I've only seen TLK once though. Lee and Blanchett both acted well, it's just the movie / writing that lets them down. McCarthy isn't a great fit for Ursula, but she is a great actor and you could tell she gave it her all so it's not terrible. I enjoyed all of the top 5. I remember Jafar not being popular, but it's another one of those cases like with Watson where I didn't see anything wrong with the performance.

12. Gal Gadot - Evil Queen
I think Gadot's Evil Queen would have been perfectly at home in a live-action interpretation of an early 2000s dtv Barbie movie, but I found The Queen aggravating here. In fairness to her, a large part of that was just how her character was imagined on the script.
Cate Blanchett, on the other hand, approached it like any other role and gave it the full measure of psychology and commitment it deserved. McCarthy could have easily fallen for the same trap, but she did a much better job at playing the role in all its pomp without becoming a caricature.
Kenzari got a lot of flack for his more snivelly Jafar, and even I remember being unsure about him until I finally saw him in action, but I like him just fine.
Evans is one of the least offensive things about one of the most offensive movies.
Jolie and Stone should have special consideration as the protagonists of their respective films, but Stone scores higher in part because her film was just that much better.
Most of the rest of them didn't leave much of an impression.

Re: Rank The Live Action Disney Villains
Hmmm...I choose Helena as best, then Angelina, then Emma, and then Cate. Helena made her movie for me. Angelina is great but I wish she was in a movie that didn't mess up the Sleeping Beauty mythos, plus Helena's acting just sticks out to me as a little more great. I actually feel a little bad for her even though she is a straight-up villain.
