I really like the poster. I like the concept and Zegler actually looks good there.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
Do you think that Rachel has more gowns in the movie? I would lo ve to see a final one. I know that we are not going to have a bride one but something more majestic for a coronation or a finale party would be amazing.
I know that in the animated film she only wears 2 costumes but I think that giving her more gowns would be a good idea. They failed with that on TLM. Ariel's costumes were really dissapointing. It gave me the sensation that they were affraid to make something more accurate or spectacular. The pink one was all right but not for a final scene. It even didn't match with the rest of gowns wore by royal people in the film.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
The movie is going to be released in 35 days and we don't have any news about it. No spots, no more official pictures, the merchandise has not been released yet...Everything around this movie is so weird.
The merchandise was made a few years ago so it should be available right now and we don't even have an official list of dolls ore somethin more leaked except some cushines, some mugs and the pictures of Mattel's doll made by a fan and the LE one from Disney store that was leaked a few days ago.

Tie-in commercial for an over-the-counter medication. Odd choice of a partnership on Disney's behalf.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
Sneezy and Sleepy. Plus allergy season is coming up with spring fast approaching, which falls into the film's release window. It makes sense.Sotiris wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2025 6:58 pm Tie-in commercial for an over-the-counter medication. Odd choice of a partnership on Disney's behalf.![]()

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
A Disney movie used to advertize drugs of any kind seems weird to me.
Has this ever been done before?

A new short trailer:

Seems like there's a shot there from the Queen's musical number:

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
I like the new trailer. Snow White telling that her mother taught her to whistle is great and it connects. It gives some kind of sense to Whistle while you work. Love it.
The costume desgin looks much better. I love the purple gown that the Queen wears at the stairs. It's very accurate to the original one but at the same time it doesn't look ridiculous.
It seems that she looses the overskirt and the bow at the forest. I don't care about the overskirt because it doesn't apport much to the gown but the bow is iconic. She shoud have worn it during all the film.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
This trailer, unlike the previous ones, really didn’t sit well with me. The title cards from animated classics evoke nostalgia, but they have no connection to the live-action remakes – unless Disney somehow sees these lesser efforts as successors to their animated canon. To top it off, there's that stupid line about whistling, which was clearly meant to be heartwarming but just comes off as corny instead.

I think...if your heart sings...you'll find yourself...singing, not whistling.
Looks like Divinity was right though about when the Queen's song is.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
SW is saying that line to Dopey who can't speak or communicate his feelings to the other dwarfs, so she's teaching him that whistling is another way to sing what's in your heart. Similar to Prince Eric's song "One Step Closer" in TLM Broadway version.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
Well, to give my thoughts about the new material: I like the new trailer, despite how it`s too short. Snow White`s interaction with Dopey, her washing the castle, the scenes in the mine and the porcupine were my favorite parts. The introduction of the many Walt Disney Presents logo`s are tacky. As is Rachel`s acting, as it`s wooden and insincere. As for the new posters, I like them. Despite how the Spanish one was my favorite. Snow White`s pose with the apple is similar to her pose from the Signature Edition cover. As for the commercial, I liked it, too. And Waiting For a Wish, it`s a cute song. But it feels too modern for Snow White`s universe and would`ve been a better fit in a one of the new Princess movies, like Tangled or even Wish.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
I never liked "One Step Closer" stealing from "Jig", and a lof of people cannot whistle. I really don't find the thing they are trying to do working. I also don't like most of what they are doing. The costumes, the girlbossing, and even though I will probably like all the new songs, not for Walt's classic Snow White. They should have done this more like 2015's Cinderella, which was truer to the character and story.

I think her overskirt torn apart when shes run into the woods and also loses her red bowThumper_93 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2025 10:34 am I like the new trailer. Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
It's clear that other countries keep Snow's traditional characterisation throught the poster to show how Snow White la image is similar with Snow White we know, while american poster marketing her as a indepedent bossy girlSotiris wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2025 7:33 pm Japanese poster.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
Exactly! I empathize with the Snow White in the Japanese poster. In the USA poster, I’d like to smack her smug face.
