Nope, they use to make only Ursula and in some shows they use a giant Ursula to recreate her death.Disney Duster wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2024 10:18 pm Oh, so I guess they never had her in any other than The Little Mermaid on Ice!

Re: Disney On Ice shows
Does anyone know if video (or audio) from The Little Mermaid On Ice is available online somewhere? I did see a clip on YouTube quite a while back featuring Vanessa's character and there was some really incredible music (they actually did an orchestra recorded version of Silence is Golden - the cut song from the film). I'd love to rewatch it and see what the rest of the show was like

I tried to search it for you but I couldn't find anything. The only thing that I saw is the commercial and a few clips but not from the original show.rb_canadian181 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2024 4:08 pm Does anyone know if video (or audio) from The Little Mermaid On Ice is available online somewhere? Next month I'll be watching the show "Mickey and Friends". This is the first time that Disney makes a show with the Encanto characters in Spain. Let's see how it works and how ugly the merchandise is this time

Yes it is! Kids love it and it became really popular thanks to tiktok's trends. Right now it's not as popular as a few years ago but people still like itLavendergolden wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2025 1:11 amis Encanto popular in Spain?Thumper_93 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 10:28 am Next month I'll be watching the show "Mickey and Friends". I found this poster today but the quality is very bad. I'll try to search another one with best definition.

In two weeks Disney On Ice comes to Spain. I'll tell you about it when I see it.

New Magic in the stars banner:

I love Cinderella's new gown and the fact that they are using long skirts again. I love to see Cinderella twirling and dancing with her complete beautiful ballgown.

Asha is a part of the show, huh? Disney has apparently decided to not sweep Wish completely under the rug, despite it`s lackluster reception.

It seems that they are going to make Asha popular through the merchandise and shows. She also appears in Disneyland Tokyo nightime show. In my opinion it's all right. The movie is not good at all but her design is pretty and star is cute. Raya also appears in other show.DisneyFan09 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 7:32 am Asha is a part of the show, huh? Well, to be honest, I liked Wish. But frankly, I find it questionable and almost contradictory that Disney are trying to include her in various types of shows, due to how her movie was mostly perceived as a failure.Thumper_93 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 9:56 amIt seems that they are going to make Asha popular through the merchandise and shows. I don't like the pattern on Cinderella's gown, but I do love the rest and that it is long again, too.

I'm going today to see this year show. I also bought the tickets for the next year. The show that it's going to be is “live your dreams”. This show is a new version of the Disney Princess Classics show but they included non-princess characters.

Re: Disney On Ice shows
Saw the show yesterday. The stage was really poor. They put a scaffold without any kind of decoration and it looked really bad. They use the screens too much. I remember the old shows when they even had a castle in front of the row. Now everything looks cheap.
Another problem with actual shows is that stories are not well told. The princesses appeared for a few seconds dancing a segment of their movies. Costumes were great but all the skirts were short. In this show appeared SW, Cindy, Ariel, Belle, Rapunzel, Mulan, Merida and Jasmine. Moana had her own part of the show and they represented like 3 songs from the movie. Aurora, Raya and Pocahontas didn't appear. I don't understand why they can't make a whole show with all the Princesses on it.
Frozen and Encanto had more time on scene. Frozen is too used and it's my least part of the show. In Europe they didn't bring the show based on the second movie so we have to see the same year after year. The Encanto part was great. They represented 4 songs from the film and it was really colorful.
Nemo and the sorcerer's apprentice also appeared on the show for a few minutes. They didn't apport too much but it was great to see them.
The merchandise was a mess. I liked a Cinderella plush toy but my husband and friends told me that she was very expensive and ugly so I didn't get her haha. Her price was 31€ about 35$. There were only two dolls. One Ariel and one Elsa that looked like if she would have problems with drugs. Each doll costed 29€.
Plastic toys were about 15/20€.
They had a generic souvenir program with pictures of characters that didn't even appear on the show. I really miss old times when each show had their own program. I also loved when the posters and the programs had the characters from animated films and not pictures of the skaters with their costumes.
It's a pitty that shows are not as spectacular as they were a few years ago. Disney needs to take more care about them.

Thank you for the report! I am sorry that a lot of it was cheap and not done well. At least Encanto was really nice!

Agreed. I`m sick of Frozen`s overexposure on the show and how it`s been included in every show year after year. And since I`ve ranted previously about how the sequel wasn`t included on the show, it`s nice that it`s finally been included. But I hope that it will eventually come to Europe.Thumper_93 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 2:15 am Frozen is too used and it's my least part of the show. Agreed. So do I. While I don`t mind compilations now and then, it`s still a pity that none of the recent shows had their own program. I remember that Frozen was one of the rare exceptions. But no other property afterwards have had their own program. And yes, I agree that the quality of the shows has declined. They`re not as spectacular as they used to be.I really miss old times when each show had their own program.
