And that's fine and true but sometimes it can be used to deny the religious elements in Aladdin as well which is why I'm wary of such talk. It should also be known that in pre-Islamic Arabia, the term "ilah" was the word for god, specifically the pagan deities if you were referring to one as singular. "Allah" is the name for the monotheistic God.

Interesting, I didn't know the Spanish dub is different. That's not the case in the regular Aladdin. Maybe the Spanish dub includes such a reference because Spain has more familiarity with Islamic culture so that reference can make sense to audiences. What song does Aladdin sing about fasting? And does this mean you don't watch the Disney movies in English?
I guess you're right, spain is much more familiar with islam than the USA is

Most arab diaspora in the USA is christian (specially lebanese) so I guess the US general audience wouldn't get the fasting reference in the 90s?
Yes, I've seen that as well in the US since many of my Lebanese friends are from America. And most of them tend to be Christian.

The hair looks better in illustrated form. Come to think of it, she's missing the bow.

Two months until release. Disney should start spamming their YouTube channel and social media accounts.

He sings that in One jump ahead.
Very interesting. It makes me wonder what other things are drastically different in all the dubs of Disney movies.
I was curious so I Googled. It's the very opening of the song.

It's weird. By this time some merchandise should be out too. I don't know what are they waiting for. It must be produced long ago so they shouldn't have any kind of problem to release it.

Her skin is not so dark as in the artwork. At least in some pictures she looks more pale than in this artwork.
Another thing that I don't understand as someone said before is the non use of the bow. It's so iconic in Snow's look. The dolls that were leaked wear it so I don't understand why they didn't included it in the rest of the merchandise.

Now it's more than about Zegler. It's about an agenda because Disney committed to making Snow White brown so they will double down by making her more brown than Zegler herself. They haven't learned their lesson from raceswapping frog, Mermaid, and Wish. They will keep doing this because they know their Toy Storys, Frozens, Moanas, Incredibles will make enough money to cancel out their harebrained decisions with raceswapping. Now that Trump is president again, I think he should use his influence to tell Disney to stop doing this and go back to normal. I don't know about Americans, but people all over the world are tired of this now.

Thank you for posting and taking the time to research!

You can see the lyrics are definitely slanted towards a Spanish audience like with the reference to bullfighting.

Most of the Arab migration in the American continent is christian due to their persecution

And the recent (well "recent, 30 years is not that recent) migration wave in Europe being mostly Muslim due to Western desestabilization of their countries

But yes most Arab diaspora around the world is christian (Peso Pluma, Salma Hayek or Shakira to say few popular examples)

Well, it was a fine illustration. Despite how she looks awfully Latina in that illustration.
Excuse me? Why this kind of posts don't get banned but I use the word payo (caló word for non-romani person) and it gets deleted for being supposedly a "slur"

Sorry! I didn't meant anything bad my comment! I'm sorry if it was offensive. And I know that I`m probably going to sound defensive. But if you're going to compare our comments, then why don't you approach the administrators on a private message, instead of calling and hanging me out like that? Cause I'm sorry for saying this, but such behavior is really petty and immature!

To be fair, I didn't think your intent was meant to be offensive but I can maybe see why people would be offended because it's rather blunt in its statement. It can somewhat come across as offensive to some people because I was somewhat shocked at first as well. Actually I agree with you that the picture looks very much like a traditional Latina woman. There's so little resemblance to Snow White's design that if I didn't know better, I'd think I'm looking at a textile of a traditional Latina woman which would have been more interesting than the mockery Disney is making us. The image is actually quite pretty and as noted before, darker than Zegler's own skin tone.

I didn't know Salma Hayek was Arab. I only know that in Mexico they don't like her anymore because they feel she's not Mexican enough for them anymore. Like how the British said Angela Lansbury was too Americanized and they didn't see her as one of them.

I believe you and I think what's important is that you saw the error of your ways so there's no need to apologize beyond that.

Don't worry, DisneyFan09, you haven't repeatedly personally attacked and slurred posters here like that member. Don't let them intimidate or bother you, you haven't done anything wrong.

Who made this artwork? It looks really bad. Her arms looks really large. I don't like the kind of artworks that they use for the LA movies. The only one that I really liked was the ones that they made for Aladdin and Cinderella..
