The logline sounded kind of barebones, but from the looks of it, they're having a lot of fun with this.

With #DreamProductions now out to the world, here’s a brand new 30-second sneak peek before the first episode of the series started on Disney+ of Pixar’s brand-new, entirely original, first-ever, long-form, 8-episode series called #WinOrLose, streaming Wednesday, February 19th (hopefully daily) only on Disney+: https://youtu.be/Dd61LPhseCc?si=7XpSNwZbKzQscVIK.

I actually got to see the 1st 2 episodes at D23 in Anaheim, back in August. You’re going to love this series when you see it, how it tells its story, and the many different animation styles used to creatively tell this story.

So, this casting call for a Pixar project that went out in 2021 was for Win or Lose after all.

Well, I guess Disney will only allow representation if it’s not in animation.

What a sad state of affairs.

Looks like we’re about to see the next 4 years of Disney animation studios have to focus on not pissing off Mr. Angry Orange Man.

Pixar/Disney doesn't care about that. They care about what will make them money. If they decide that audiences will welcome or reject something based on that, they will act accordingly. But they couldn't care less about what one man thinks.

Another example where corporate greed comes before any sense of morality and it's disheartening at the very least and infuriating that they have a severe lack of backbone when it comes to lgbt issues. Always trying to shake down Disney fans with pride merch and pride days at the park, just as long as characters remain ambiguous or in the shadows in their movies and shows. Grow a pair Disney, take a stand and make sure you are on the right side of history, even if that means making some waves in the process!

Not gonna happen after three strikes with the failures of Lightyear and Strange World plus DeSantis beating them this game as his retaliation for punishing them for speaking out against his bill and Trump winning made them realize chasing after LGBTQ audiences in animated media ain’t worth it.

Marvel, Star Wars, and 20th Century/Searchlight, they won’t censor it there, but animation, not gonna get anymore representation there until Trump is gone.

Right wing people will call Disney woke when it is an extremely conservative and evil company

It's sad because people working there as artists are on average queer, imagine working in a company where the studio heads hate your existence

The cut scene in animatic form has been leaked.

Danny Barnhart, an animator who worked on the series, posted footage and artwork from the cut storyline and revealed Disney decided to censor the show after the election results.

They don’t hate their existence, they just fear losing money if their media is review bombed by the right.

As the old saying goes, “it’s nothing personal, it’s just business/our (their) job.”

Bob Iger fired Ellen DeGeneres when she came out of the closet and said that LGBT media should be only +18 because kids shouldn't see that, he's clearly lgbtphobic

I agree that is a business about money and only money, but they clearly don't care a little bit about queer representation if they cut a trans character from a TV SHOW nobody was going to watch anyways, Win Or Lose will not have huge numbers of viewers, it's not their next big movie, it's just a small streaming series like the recent Dream Productions that got 0 media chatter

Ok first of all, everything you said at the top is a lie and is unsourced, unverified, and untrue.

Second, Dream Productions had a 40% bigger debut than X-Men ‘97, so I doubt Win Or Lose gets no viewership. And if they really “don't care a little bit about queer representation if they cut a trans character from a TV SHOW nobody was going to watch anyways,” how come they didn’t cut out Billy Maximoff’s LGBTQ elements from Agatha All Along and allowed Marvel Studios to have LGBTQ representation with Eternals, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, along with The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, Big Shot, Love, Victor, All of Us Strangers, etc?

Seems that they think LGBTQ representation is allowed in live-action Disney fare and not animated fare because animated fare is associated with kids and parents don’t want kids to learn about transsexual stuff because parents are horrified seeing women turn into men and men turn into women.

It’s not rocket science and it pays nothing to learn that if you weren’t so far left for once.

When are we going to have the same outrage aimed at Sony and Universal (DreamWorks and Illumination) for not even attempting to do representation? At least Disney tried.

I know. Right? Apparently people are only mad at Disney because they’re the popular ones when they should be mad at every other animation studio too.

While I'm not one of those people, it makes sense the bulk of the attention would be put on the company who basically owns like 80% of all media. They're not just more popular, they are also putting things out at a faster pace (more frequently) than someone like illumination.

Eternals has a explicit queer character because Chloe Zhao won multiple Oscars so Feige and Iger trusted her

America Chavez has a pride flag pin and 2 seconds of her two mothers, Wakanda Forever cut the LGBT couple so what the fuck are you saying?

Anyways the MCU is more adult oriented so my point still stands, they see LGBT representation as something for adults and "dirty"

And yes you guys are right, we should complain about other animation studios for not even trying, they suck too
