That cover is not bad. Here are some leaked images of merch in the same style of drawing:Thumper_93 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 6:18 am There is also a picture of the cover that they are going to use for the novelization book

The cover for the Little Golden Book was also revealed recently. And here are some more leaks from the last few months. Some of them have been posted before, but some look new to me.

The dolls from Mattel are really beautiful. They added so many details on them and they look much better than TLM ones. I hope that they are not very expensive.
I have to say that I'm not a huge fan of the artwork that they are using for the merchandise. It reminds me to the style that some designers used back in the 00's to sell stationery stuff. I would have used another kind of style. Something that reminds more like a classic fairy tale.

Rachel looks so horrible with that haircut, if only they had made her hair long, but put it in a hairnet like so many fanart pictures have, to make her more historically accurate, but just remind us of the original version enough.

The problem is that her hair was very short and they can't make Snow's original hairstyle with this length.

This is stunningly unprofessional, even by her incredibly low standards. Liking a post suggesting she was unhappy being around Gadot because she's Israeli is inexcusable. How's Gadot supposed to do press with her next year for the film after this? Zegler is a bully and a bigot.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
In Rachel’s defense, that picture is 13th in a photoset of 20, mostly of photos of Zegler at the red carpet premiere of Spellbound.
You can’t see who liked the post anymore (I don’t know much about Instagram, but I think the account holder can hide that information? I assume they did so in response to the controversy), but shortly after I saw Farerb’s post here, I checked it out on Instagram myself because I did find it shocking. At that time, I could still see the names of everyone who liked the post, and when I searched for Zegler’s handle it no longer appeared. I think when she was alerted to the controversy, she unliked the post.
I agree that it’s highly unprofessional to imply you dislike your costar, but I don’t think she liked the post because of the Gadot picture— like I said before, the photoset is mostly Spellbound red carpet pictures. I think it’s plausible that she only looked at a few of the pictures in the set, or glossed over the caption on the Gadot picture. She tried to fix her mistake by unliking the post, although now no one has evidence of that because the account holder behind the photoset has made all the likes on their posts anonymous. It’s a mess.
She should certainly be much more careful about how she uses social media. And her fans should realize they aren’t doing Zegler any favors by trying to project a feud between her and Gadot.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
She looks psychotic there. It's probably the bug eyes they gave her. Disney needs to stop trying to capture actors' likenesses in illustrations. More often than not, they end up looking uncanny and off-putting.
Agreed. The specific style looks basic and uninspired.Thumper_93 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 2:22 amI have to say that I'm not a huge fan of the artwork that they are using for the merchandise. It reminds me to the style that some designers used back in the 00's to sell stationery stuff.

Zegler is Disney’s one woman wrecking crew.
Thankfully she was forced to apologize to half the potential audience for this film fiasco.
I doubt the mea culpa for her hate filled post was sincere, though.

After that ridiculous excuse she posted on her Instagram, she does this. Will she ever learn?

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
I am confused. Do you disagree that keeping her hair as long as Zegler's was before the film shooting, and just keeping it together in a historically accurate hairnet, would not have mimicked the original hair style enough? I am at work so can't post a picture, but shoomlah's historically accurate Snow White fanart shows it is possible.Thumper_93 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 5:20 am The problem is that her hair was very short and they can't make Snow's original hairstyle with this length.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
Something I hate about Gal Gadot being the evil queen is all the hate tweets she's going to receive
I obviously support palestine, but there's a big dehumanisation of Jewish Israeli people, like yes their country is doing a horrible thing but so is Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and the USA at this moment
Why only the Jewish country gets this level of hate? (And I think they deserve hate, don't get me wrong, it just feels very "no jews, no news"
Anyways Gal Gadot has never said anything against palestinians, her social media has been focused on the hostages who she probably knows some (since its a very small country, they mostly all know a victim of 7/10)
Anyways the movie looks good and I think Rachel is great (I still don't like her comments she made about hispanic people, but I think she has changed)

Rachel Zegler: "here I am with the colonial white woman born in a colony aka Hawaii inside the colony USA, I love her so much, queen"
Rachel Zegler also: "here I am with the brown Jewish woman born in her ancestral homeland her ancestors had to leave due to persecution, I hate her"

The problem with the hairstyle that they made is that they cutted the hair and after that they pretended to have well defined waves.Disney Duster wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 10:25 pmI am confused. They tried to make this kind of hairstyle. The one that inspired the original character. This hairstyle was very common during the 30's

I'm sure that they never contemplated to make a more historically accurrate hairstyle because nothing is accurate in this movie. They created a mix of styles as they did with Cinderella but less defined.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
Ok, so yes, if Disney had made her hairstyle correct to the '30s, that would have been better. But better still would have been a historically accurate hairstyle like this:

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)
I agree about this hairstyle. It would've been better because it's more accurate and it mantains the shape of the original Snow White's hairstyle.
The problem with Disney is that they use to fail when they try to make something like in the cartoons.Even the hairstyle from the parks looks better than the LA one:
