Basically I was never hugely into Disney but I bought a handful of the Walt Disney Treasures releases to see some of the cartoons I loved as a child. I enjoyed the ones I bought immensly and now I've been sucked in completely and have a full set of all eleven tins (plus I have the upcoming ones on pre-order)!
But I was wondering if anyone knows the definate plans for the line? I'd like to hope they have a release plan drawn up somewhere so that they can release every theatrical short over the coming years.
But out of everything I'd like to see a Winnie the Pooh set, a Chip N Dale set and a set of other shorts from throughout the years (Humphrey the Bear, Roger Rabbit, the '98 updated Three Little Pigs short, etc).
I only fear the line my lose momentum and some great stuff may go unreleased.
But anyway I just wondered if anyone knows any plans for the upcoming releases from next year upwards?
EDIT: I was also wondering if they are considering putting an uncut "The Three Little Pigs" on a future Silly Symphonies release as they actually put a cut version on the US version of the Vol. 1 DVD (so I think it would be nice to see it included again in it's full form - maybe as an easter egg)?
Future plans for the "Walt Disney Treasures" line?
