The Kane Chronicles
Re: The Kane Chronicles
Since Disney made black and asian actors play greek gods and children of greeks gods, I better see blonde and blue eyed white actors calling themselves egyptian gods and children of egyptian gods here as well.

Re: The Kane Chronicles
Interesting to see the Kane Chronicles being adapted into a series! Hope the casting decisions do justice to the Egyptian mythology and characters.

Howard Ashman:
He gave a mermaid her voice, a beast his soul, and Arabs something to complain about
Arabian Nights (Unedited)
Savages (Uncensored)
If it ain't OTV, it ain't worth anything!

Re: The Kane Chronicles
After the Netflix gig didn't work out, they're back at Disney+ after all.

I never actually got very far into the series. I found the first book to be a little frenetic and unfocused. (I'll also acknowledge that I don't have the same investment in Egyptian mythology that I do in Greek mythology, so the payoffs were comparatively slimmer next to Percy Jackson.) It's not out of the question that I might revisit them, though, if this thing picks up steam.
