I don't know who I would judge more from that encounter. Hubert for sleeping with Maleficent or Maleficent for sleeping with Hubert. rotfl

Anyways, I could actually see a Dumbo sequel working out fairly well. I want to see that elephant spread his wings (ears?) a little more once he's figured out what he could do.

I think there's a lot of lore they could build on for a Jungle Book 2 with unused Kipling lore, especially if they looked outside just the Mowgli stories, but I also think that you can't really take Mowgli out of the man village once he's crossed over. In the same way you can't have Wendy go back to Neverland. Like, I can live with Ariel getting her fins back for a spell, but Mowgli leaving the jungle is just such a perfect metaphor for leaving behind childhood, and even letting him have weekend visits would just unravel the whole thing.

I am sorry, Disneynerd, but I can't see Dumbo thinking his mom or Timothy are jealous and choosing fame over them! You just cannot make Dumbo anything but the sweet innocent he always was.
