Am I the only sad Disney freak out there who has progressed from dvds to a more expensive obsession? And where the hell am I going to put all these snowglobes when they arrive????
I've been a very bad girl!
I've been a very bad girl!
Last week I made the mistake of logging onto the Disneystore website and now I am the proud owner of 5 more Disney snowglobes and a 20.5" Donald Duck. Damn that site!
I've got pretty much all my Disney dvd's so my next obsession is snowglobes and the Disneystore website had a huge snowglobe sale that I just couldn't resist. They were priced between $38-$76 so how could I not buy them?

No, you are definitely not alone. I have recently progressed to disney beanies. I am running out of places to put them. I am currently watching 4 on ebay even though i know when i get them they are just going to go straight into a box in the wardrobe and will probably not see the light of day for a while!

I collect the plush toys, which can be either more or less expensive than the DVDs, depending on the size I pick as ideal. Currently, I've got Pumbaa, Tigger, two Eeyores (a regular and a talking version), Mushu, Maggie, Mrs. Caloway, Grace, Bambi, Sorcerer's Hat Mickey, and Donald Duck. I usually go for the medium size because they won't drain my funds too quickly, and they are just the right size and cuteness.
Has anybody seen a good Daisy Duck plush (just the regular version with a pink bow)?

trust me you are not alone in this. I also collect the snowglobes, and haven't visited the Disney site because I knew I would do just what you did. I also collect the Disney beanie plush characters, pictures Lp's, DVD's, lithos, anything else Disney I can.
It is hard when you truely like something to control the urges of purchasing everything. I think Disney may have gone a little too far with the mickey mouse shaped computer though:)

I hear ya Celtic. Preachin' to the choir here. I too collect the Disney snow globes but I only collect the really small ones that are like ten bucks in the Disney Store. I collect the Disney plush as well. I'm starting to run out of room in my closet, on my dresser and on my desk. I wonder if there's a disney merchandise-aholics annonymous.
Dragon, not lizard. I don't do that tongue thing.

Well I dont have the snowgolbe problem like a few of you but I am just as bad as the next person when it comes to the plush stuff animals. Especailly Eeyore ones I have over 25 I think by now all different sizes and style. And Now I am collecting Mickey's and Stitches I am running out of places to put them and evey time I go to the Disney store I buy like more its crazy.
JJJ, I think my mother will have plenty to say on the matter when they arrive at her house and she has to store them for me!
I should probably tell her about the 20.5" Donald Duck figurine that my hubby has ordered too I guess. Mmmmm....might leave that for a while!
The annoying thing is that the US Disney store has the best stowglobes (the UK ones all look plastic and cheap) so I have to get them shipped to the Emerald Isle AND pay customs duty on them. But they're worth it!!!

Mother - oops. How old are you? Sometimes I need to remember how old the average Ultimate Disney poster is before I start makin' jokes. Man, I never had that kind of money as a kid. Then I had money for a while. Now I have kids and have no money again. Its all circular.

Snow Globes ? You lucky dog I have always loved Snow Globes. They are the Ultimate Best. I wish I had bought some but I never had the addiction to buy them.
