Hey guys, check this out. This is really cool!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G88V6BZCQVQ&t=13s

So, a while back, this guy recreated a short sequence from the film during "Whistle While You Work", using animation cells. Now, he attempted the same thing with the "Music in Your Soul" sequence. He took three scenes, and colored them, using animation cells. I think the results are quite impressive.

Do we know yet if it's a new 4k restoration a-la Cinderella?

This is some impressive stuff. Would love to see this scene fully colorized. With new technologies I think this should be more possible to get done by someone.

I was finally able to order this from Amazon but I already made an order from eBay. Let's see which one arrives first.

Is October 10 the general release date and it covers brick-and-mortar stores as well? I'm thinking of picking this up in person because I always worry that discs and case will get damaged during shipping.

Hmmm... they look fine to me. But I don't see a big difference with the previous blu ray. Some changes in color palette on some of the shots. Maybe when I see the full size images I will notice more.
But if you guys wanna point out some stuff that is a big improvement, please do!

I thought the same thing. But that’s fine by me. I don’t think Snow White needed as much work done on it as Cinderella.

The restoration has warmer colors. But it’s interesting, because the Mirror looks colder 😂

Each frame of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs looks like a work of art.
I ordered my copy from Amazon last week to go alongside my copy of Cinderella.
I will buy each restoration from this company of all the Walt era films. I wonder what’s next? I would hope they’d restore Mary Poppins next year for the 60th Anniversary.

I saw on YouTube that a fan has done a restoration of Song of the South that supposedly looks absolutely amazing!
I’d love to learn more about it.

I would love Poppins to be restored and released on 4K. They should pull out all the stops for the movie’s 60th anniversary next year. We are so lucky that Julie, Dick van Dyke, and Glynis Johns who turns 100 tomorrow, are all still with us.

I couldn't tell a difference from how I remember Snow looking before, but Vlad could, and I knew he'd tell us! Thank you!

Ooh, can you imagine a Poppins 60th retorospective with those three interviewed, along with a 4K restoration, Brelly?!
