Are these cartoons on DVD yet?

Post by fairuza »

I am wondering if any of these 3 cartoons I watched as a kid are on DVD:

First one is where Donald and his nephews get into a fight on a frozen lake and shoot flaming arrows at each other's ice block forts.

Second one is where Donald works at some sort of apple farm and there is a huge tower of apples that empties and then he chases Chip and Dale through some apple trees.

Last one is only with Chip and Dale I think and they are competing over a female chipmunk who is looking a mirror doing her hair. This one seemed to be really dark. I think this one also had them running around inside a xmas tree with glowing red bulbs everywhere in it? Maybe that is another one.

The first cartoon is 'Donald's Snow Fight' and will probably be on Volume 2 of The chronological Donald. This cartoon is on the region 2 'Countdown to Christmas' DVD.

The Second cartoon is 'Donald Applecore' and will also be on a future volume of The Chronological Donald, but is also available as a bonus feature on the Melody Time DVD.

The third cartoon is 'Two Chips and a Miss' and may be on a future treasures dvd release.

Yeah, as for your third cartoon mentioned, anyone else agree that a "Complete Chip 'n' Dale" treasures wouldn't be too out there? Yes of course you're going to have spill overs, but I would still buy it.

I'd love a "Complete Chip 'n' Dale" treasures set! It would go great with the Chronological Donalds.

Yes, we'd definitely have "spill overs," or "double dips," or whatever you call them, as there were only three official Chip 'n' Dale cartoons released (one of which just appeared on the American DVD of the Davy Crockett movies). Imagine a Treasures set with only three new cartoons on them! Yikes.

Recently, a very kind person has informed me that there is a German DVD of many of the Chip 'n' Dale cartoons, both the official ones and the ones in which they appear in Donald and other series designations.

Well, I wouldn't mind double dipping with Chip 'n' Dale cause frankly...they're worth it!

Chip 'n' Dale did most of their cartoons with Donald or Pluto, right? I'll most likely buy Donald Vol. 2, so I won't mind double dipping from that for a Chip 'n' Dale treasures set. I'm not gonna buy any Pluto treasures anyway, so it'd be good to have double dipping from Pluto treasures on a Chip 'n' Dale set (at least for me).

Or better yet: A Chip 'n' Dale treasures set with Rescue Rangers!

Oh wow, I didn't know there were only 3 Chip 'n' Dale cartoons that didn't involve pluto or Donald. Well, in all honesty I would still buy one. It would be worth it to have a treasures with just the donald and pluto episodes that have CND in them, as well as the three new ones. I doubt Disney will do it, but heavily rehashing isn't a foreign concept to them, as demonstrated in this new Davy Crocket DVD, and the 3-Disc Pirates of the Caribbean set. So it's possible

If you could still see my avatar, you'd know why I'd buy it anyhow. A combination with Rescue Rangers would make sense too (say the opening 5 episodes of the first story).

This cartoon was also featured on the 1983 Disney Video Tape Release. Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Cartoon Collections Volume 2. Which I have .
