By the way, regarding the costumes I posted before, I've seen some people online think the white outfit is not a wedding dress, but one of Queen Selina's. Maybe they're right. We saw her in a white dress in the set photos and also in a book illustration. Plus, if it was a wedding dress, the veil would probably have been added somehow to the mannequin.

Here are
individual images in a bit higher resolution. Apparently, they are from Target's website, but I can't find either this or the Colleen Atwood video there.
Personally, I wasn't sure at first if I liked the sisters' designs or not. There were too many colors and patterns for my taste. But I have to say that they've grown on me. They're quite creative and I kind of like that they look like tropical fish. I even like Ariel's tail and bra combo now as well, as I think I've finally understood the logic behind its design. I wonder if the mermaid looks were created by the costume designer or some other department, or if it was a collaboration between Colleen Atwood and the VFX team, for example. They're not really clothes, though, so perhaps she doesn't have anything to do with it.

Also why are they the only ones witn those dumb hair colors while the rest have natural color with at some highlights?
I hadn't noticed the one with the yellow tail had yellow highlights in her hair and the one with the braid had blue highlights. But, yeah, it's strange only the white ones have all the hair of an unrealistic color.
