The first book in a new middle grade series that features the adventures of Disney’s most loveable roguish heroes as kids!

“You know the great thing about beginnings? It means we’re only getting started.” — Flynnigan Rider and the Hunt for the Red Pearl

Twelve-year-old Eugene Fitzherbert needs a plan. It’s not that he doesn’t love his time in the orphanage that raised him—Miss Clare and the boys are his family. As is his best friend, Arnie, with whom he’s often in cahoots, acting out passages from his favorite Flynnigan Rider books, or pretending they’re Lance Archer, the iconic thief who takes from the rich to give to the poor. But Eugene knows that most orphans his age set off to make their own way, and the orphanage already doesn’t have the means to support them all. Besides, he wants to see the world with Arnie, and maybe, just maybe find his parents someday.

So when a traveling circus comes to the kingdom promising a life of adventure, brotherhood, and riches, Eugene jumps at the chance to join them. He even convinces Arnie to come too. But soon it becomes clear that there’s more to this ragtag crew than meets the eye, and they may have a dubious plot in the works. It’ll take new heroes—namely, Flynn Rider and Lance Strongbow, to save the day.

Filled with adventure and fun, the Lost Legends series explores the untold origins of Disney’s most infamous rogue boys, recounting the life-altering adventures that led to their transformations into the characters we know and love.

Before he defeated Jafar, Aladdin was just a poor boy on the streets of Agrabah..."do you trust me?"

Twelve-year-old Aladdin has spent his entire life roaming the desert with a group of nomads. He has nothing to his name except the clothes on his back, the stars in the sky, and a peculiar necklace left to him by his late mother. But that doesn’t bother Aladdin―he doesn’t want much. If he had three wishes, he would only ask for one thing: a home. A place to belong.

When Aladdin is separated from the nomads in Agrabah, he feels drawn to the city’s bustling streets. This is a place full of possibilities and magic, one that Aladdin might even be able to call his own. Facing a whole new world with danger lurking around every corner, Aladdin soon joins a group of thieves who teach him what it takes to be a street rat. Aladdin will need to put those skills and his good heart to the test when whispers of a mysterious “diamond” catch up with him and threaten to destroy his new home.

A boy his age needs to be around other children. Other humans. And so, she decides it's time for Kristoff to go to school. Before he saved Mount Olympus...Hercules was just a boy trying to find his way. “How am I supposed to prove myself a hero if no one will give me a chance?"

Twelve-year-old Hercules doesn’t fit in. He’s awkward and clumsy, and his excessive strength tends to be more hurtful than it is helpful. But Herc believes that if he was just given the chance to prove himself, he could show everyone that he really does belong. Of course Hercules never expected his chance to come by way of an angry goddess.

One night, a prized olive grove is ruined and the goddess Nike appears, looking for a culprit. Hercules’s neighbors are quick to accuse him until an older boy named Theseus steps in and defends Hercules. Theseus believes Hercules didn’t cause the destruction and volunteers to accompany him on a quest to Athens to clear his name. The two set off and soon encounter giants, robbers, and sea monsters who try to stop them. Hercules is glad to have Theseus by his side, but he can’t help but wonder—is Theseus truly doing this out of the goodness of his heart? Or does he also have something to prove?

Interesting that it includes Lance from the TV series. You'd think the Gina character mentioned in the synopsis for the Twisted Tale book would've been Cassandra.

The third book in a new middle grade series that features the adventures of Disney’s most lovable roguish heroes as kids!

Before he was the Arendelle Ice Master and Deliverer, he was just a fixer-upper named Kristoff… “I’m here. What do you need?”

Twelve-year-old Kristoff Bjorgman is content. He loves his reindeer best friend, he loves his adoptive troll family, and he loves his new ice carving hobby. But his mother, Bulda, can’t help but worry. A boy his age needs to be around other children. Other humans. And so, she decides it’s time for Kristoff to attend school for the very first time. To his dismay, Kristoff hates being stuck at a desk and doesn’t relate to the other kids. Even worse, Kristoff’s childhood bully, Gustav, is one of his classmates and is meaner than ever.

Kristoff thinks things are finally looking up when he learns about the Polar Nights festival’s first ever ice harvester competition. If he wins the competition, he can show his classmates that he belongs and even win a brand new sleigh. Kristoff begins training, more excited and hopeful than ever, despite the fact that Gustav is also entering the competition and seems determined to sabotage Kristoff. When race day arrives, a storm begins to roll in. Kristoff isn’t discouraged, even when Gustav immediately pulls ahead. But the weather quickly worsens and the competition is canceled—and Gustav is too far ahead to hear it. Kristoff could turn around and go home, but that’s not who he is. Instead he plunges into the storm to save Gustav, whether he likes it or not.

Filled with breathtaking thrills and wild antics, the Lost Legends series explores the untold origins of Disney’s most infamous rogue boys.
